The AirTAC GFR200C08MLF1T AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/4 Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR200C08MLF1T is an AirTAC GFR filter regulator: a 1/4 in unit that removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This size 200 configuration has a manual drain on the metal bowl, standard 40 um filtration, the low-pressure regulator type, an embedded square gauge reading in MPa, and a mounting bracket; no reverse/check valve is fitted. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing), and the medium is compressed air.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 in to 1 in, and can be ordered with automatic or differential-pressure drains, a 5 um filter element (code W), gauge scales in psi or bar, G (BSPP) or NPT threads in place of the PT standard, and an external round gauge. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing and datasheet figures for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |

| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |

| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Filtering and regulating supply air to a small pneumatic press or clamping fixture, where the low-pressure regulator type holds the circuit at reduced setpoints and the embedded square gauge gives a direct MPa readout.
Point-of-use air preparation for packaging machine cylinders and grippers: the 40 um element stops scale and pipe debris reaching the valves, and the manual drain lets an operator clear condensate at the end of a shift.
Feeding filtered, regulated air to a CNC machine tool's pneumatic control panel, with the included bracket mounting the unit beside the machine and the manual bowl drain suiting a supervised, maintained cell.
Choose the size by port and demand: size 200 with a 1/4 in port is the compact step of the range, while 300, 400 and 600 step up in port and flow capacity - ask us to check the flow curve against your air demand, since no single rated figure is published. Decide the drain: this unit is manual, so the bowl is emptied by hand, while automatic and differential-pressure drains are order options. Filtration is the standard 40 um element; specify code W for 5 um if finer particulate capture is needed. The fitted square gauge reads in MPa; psi and bar scales, and an external round gauge, are alternatives. Thread here is NPT; PT is the standard and G (BSPP) is also available to order. A bracket is included, and a reverse/check valve can be added. If your circuit runs at reduced setpoints, the low-pressure regulator type in this code is the relevant choice - confirm the exact adjustment range with us, as it is not published.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes GFR performance as flow curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a rated flow, Cv or SCFM for this unit. Send us your line pressure and air demand and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet on request.
The M in the code sets a manual drain: condensate is emptied from the bowl by hand, which suits supervised equipment on a maintenance round. Automatic and differential-pressure drains are order options on the GFR family if you would rather not rely on operator draining.
