The AirTAC GFR300C08JF2G AirTAC Filter Regulator, G1/4, 40 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR300C08JF2G is an AirTAC GFR300 filter regulator: one body that removes water and particulate from compressed air and then regulates the downstream pressure. This configuration has G1/4 (BSPP) ports, a 40 um standard filter element and a differential-pressure drain that discharges collected condensate automatically as the pressure differential across the element builds. The regulator is the standard type with a 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi) adjustment range, the embedded square gauge reads in psi, and no mounting bracket or reverse/check valve is fitted.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is made in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 in; this size 300 unit carries a polycarbonate bowl, a maximum inlet pressure of 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and an operating temperature of -5 to 70 C (non-freezing). Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet and sizing figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding the pneumatic tool-clamp and counterbalance circuits of a CNC machining centre: the 40 um element strips water and pipe scale before the regulator holds a steady clamp pressure at the spindle drop.
Supplying the diverters, pushers and seal jaws on a carton packaging line, where the differential-pressure drain keeps condensate out of the actuators and the regulator holds consistent jaw pressure shift after shift.
Conditioning air to the gripper and clamp valves on a robotic welding cell, with the psi gauge giving operators a local setpoint readout right at the cell drop.
Pick the size and port step (200/300/400/600, 1/8 to 1 in) against the flow your line needs - we confirm exact figures from the datasheet on request because flow is published as curves, not a single rating. This unit uses the default differential-pressure drain; automatic (A) and manual (M) drains are decodable options if you prefer hands-off or scheduled draining. The 40 um element is standard and a 5 um element (code W) is available for finer protection. The embedded square gauge here reads in psi, with MPa and bar scales and an external round gauge as options. Ports are G (BSPP) on this model; PT is the standard thread and NPT is orderable as a specification choice. Code J omits the mounting bracket, so add it if you want panel or wall fixing.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes G-series flow as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Send us your line pressure, downstream demand and acceptable pressure drop, and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet on request.
This unit uses the default differential-pressure drain, which discharges collected condensate automatically as the pressure differential across the 40 um element builds. If you would rather drain by hand on a schedule or need a fully automatic bowl drain, the same GFR300 body is decodable with a manual (M) or automatic (A) drain - ask us and we will confirm the variant.
