The AirTAC GFR300C08JF3T AirTAC Filter Regulator 1/4 in NPT is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR300C08JF3T is a size 300 filter regulator that removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration is a 1/4 in NPT ported unit with the standard 40 um filter element, a differential-pressure drain that bleeds collected condensate automatically whenever the pressure differential across the element is high enough, and a fitted embedded square gauge reading in bar. The regulator is the standard type with an adjustment range of 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), and the operating temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing). No mounting bracket is included and no reverse/check valve is fitted.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 in to 1 in, PT as the standard thread and G or NPT as order options, plus a choice of drain type, 40 um or 5 um (W) filtration, gauge scale and bracket. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the sizing and datasheet figures for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding a small pneumatic press or clamping fixture: the 40 um element strips water and pipe scale carried over from the ring main, while the regulator holds a steady set pressure so forming and clinching strokes stay repeatable shift after shift.
Point-of-use conditioning for a carton sealer or wrapper: clean, regulated air to the cylinders and vacuum generators, with the differential-pressure drain keeping condensate off the machine floor and the bar gauge giving operators a visible setpoint check.
Conditioning the air feed to gripper cylinders and small actuators on an automation cell: the 1/4 in NPT port matches typical cell drop lines, and stable regulated pressure protects delicate part-handling motions from supply fluctuations.
Size 300 with a 1/4 in NPT port sits in the middle of the GFR range; step up to size 400/600 or down to size 200 if your line's flow demand points elsewhere - we can check the published flow curves against your application. The differential-pressure drain on this unit needs no daily manual attention, but if your compressor cycles heavily or you want positive scheduled draining, an automatic (A) or manual (M) drain version can be ordered instead. The 40 um element is the standard grade; specify 5 um (code W) where downstream valves or instruments need finer protection. The fitted square gauge reads in bar; MPa or psi scales and an external round gauge are alternatives. NPT is built into this code; PT is the AirTAC standard and G (BSPP) is also an order option. A mounting bracket (J = none) can be added if you want the unit secured to a panel or backplate. Because flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, ask us to confirm sizing against your air demand before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR300 series as curves, not as a single rated number, so we do not quote a l/min or SCFM figure. Tell us your inlet pressure, set pressure and air demand and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet curves on request before you order.
The differential-pressure drain opens to expel collected condensate automatically when the pressure differential across the 40 um element builds up, so there is no drain fitting to operate daily. If you prefer a positive automatic drain (code A) or a manual drain (code M), the same size 300 filter regulator can be ordered with either.
