The AirTAC GFR300C08JNT AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/4 is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR300C08JNT is an AirTAC GFR300 filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and holds downstream pressure steady in one compact body. This configuration has 1/4 in NPT ports, a 40 um filtration element, a polycarbonate bowl with a differential-pressure drain that expels collected condensate, and a standard regulator adjustable from 0.15 to 0.9 MPa (20-130 psi). Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C non-freezing, and no gauge or mounting bracket is fitted on this version.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 in, PT as the standard thread and G or NPT as order options, a choice of differential-pressure, automatic or manual drains, an optional finer 5 um element (code W), optional square or round gauges with MPa, psi or bar scales, and an optional mounting bracket. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm sizing from the datasheet for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Conditioning the air feed to pneumatic clamps on a CNC machining fixture, where filtered air at a set, steady pressure keeps workholding force repeatable across shifts.
Supplying filtered, regulated air to the diverter and pusher cylinders on a bottling or carton packaging conveyor, protecting them from water and scale carried in the shop air main.
A point-of-use filter regulator on the drop leg feeding impact wrenches and air ratchets at an assembly bench, set to the pressure the tools are specified for.
Start from the port step: this unit is size 300 with 1/4 in NPT ports, while larger sizes step up to 3/8, 1/2, 3/4 and 1 in ports and higher air demand, so match the size to the line. Drain choice matters: the differential-pressure drain fitted here vents condensate as the unit works, and automatic (A) or manual (M) drains can be ordered instead - note the manual-drain version also lowers the regulation floor to 0.05 MPa (7 psi). Filtration is 40 um as standard; specify 5 um (code W) where downstream valves and cylinders need finer protection. Thread here is NPT; PT is the AirTAC standard and G (BSPP) is also available to order, and a bracket or gauge can be added if your panel needs one. Because flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, send us your application details and we will confirm sizing from the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes G-series flow as performance curves rather than a single rated figure, so there is no one l/min or SCFM number we can quote for the GFR300. Send us your application's air demand and line pressure and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet on request.
The differential-pressure drain fitted on this unit uses the pressure difference across the element to expel collected condensate during operation. The GFR family also offers an automatic drain (code A) and a manual drain (code M); choosing the manual-drain version additionally lowers the regulation range floor to 0.05 MPa (7 psi) instead of 0.15 MPa (20 psi).
