The AirTAC GFR400-10 AirTAC Filter Regulator, PT3/8, Manual Drain is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR400C10MF2 is a size 400 filter regulator: water and particulate filtration plus downstream pressure regulation in a single body. This configuration has PT3/8 ports, the standard 40 um filter element, a manual drain on the bowl, and an embedded square gauge reading in psi. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), the regulator adjusts from 0.05 to 0.9 MPa (7-130 psi), and the operating temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing). The polycarbonate bowl suits the 200/300/400 sizes, and a mounting bracket is included.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 to 1 inch, and with choices of drain type, 5 um (W) or 40 um filtration, gauge scale, thread (PT standard, G and NPT to order) and bracket. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us and we will confirm the datasheet figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Point-of-use conditioning for a CNC machining centre's pneumatic clamps, tool-change cylinders and chip conveyors: the 40 um element stops scale and pipe debris reaching the valves, and the regulator holds a steady setting for repeatable clamping.
Feeding the cylinders and air jets on a carton former, sealer and case packer: clean, regulated air keeps the sealing heads and pushers cycling consistently through a full shift, with the manual drain bled at scheduled checks.
Conditioning the air to pneumatic nutrunners, press-fit stations and part-present actuators on an assembly line, where the psi square gauge gives operators a direct local reading of the set pressure at the station.
Start with size and port: the 400 size steps up in flow capacity and port from the 300, so match the 3/8 inch PT connection and the flow curve to your line demand before ordering. Choose the drain to suit access: this unit has a manual drain, which suits supervised installations where an operator can bleed the bowl; automatic or differential-pressure drains suit unmanned points. Filtration is the standard 40 um grade, with the finer 5 um element available as the W option where downstream equipment needs cleaner air. The fitted square gauge reads in psi; MPa and bar scales, and an external round gauge, are alternatives. PT is the standard thread, with G (BSPP) and NPT as order options, and the mounting bracket is included.
Because flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, ask us to confirm sizing against your application before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR400 as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Send us your line pressure, set pressure and air demand and we will confirm the datasheet flow figures for this exact configuration on request.
The M in the code specifies a manual drain on the bowl: collected condensate is released by hand rather than automatically. It suits installations with regular operator presence. If the unit sits at an unmanned point, ask about the automatic or differential-pressure drain versions of the same size.
