The AirTAC GFR400C10AC1T AirTAC Filter Regulator, NPT3/8 is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR400C10AC1T is an AirTAC GFR400 filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration is sized for a 3/8 in NPT port, with a 40 um standard filter element and an automatic drain that expels collected condensate without manual attention. The standard regulator covers an adjustment range of 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), a round pressure gauge scaled in MPa is fitted, and the maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi). Operating temperature is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing), and the size 400 bowl is polycarbonate (PC).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR filter-regulator line spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port options from 1/8 in to 1 in, a choice of differential-pressure, automatic or manual drain, 40 um or 5 um (code W) filtration, gauge styles and scales, G/NPT thread options and bracket choices. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we confirm the datasheet and sizing figures on request before you order.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Supplying clean, regulated air to the clamping and workholding cylinders on a machining cell, where the 40 um element protects directional valves and the automatic drain keeps condensate out of the circuit.
Air preparation for stopper and gate cylinders along a packaging conveyor, with the regulator set to the actuator's rated pressure and the automatic drain handling moisture at the line drop.
Point-of-use filtration and regulation ahead of a solenoid valve bank on an assembly line, keeping water and particulate out of the valves while holding a stable set pressure.
Choose the size and port step against the air demand of the circuit: this unit is size 400 with a 3/8 in NPT port, and larger sizes carry larger ports and more flow capacity. Drain type is a real decision: automatic (this unit) drains condensate by itself, manual requires operator action, and the differential-pressure default drains on a pressure differential. Filter grade is 40 um standard here, with 5 um (code W) available where finer filtration is needed. Gauge options cover embedded square or external round styles with MPa, psi or bar scales; this unit carries a round gauge scaled in MPa. Thread is NPT on this code, with PT (standard) and G (BSPP) available as order options, and a bracket is included. Because flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for this series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a rated flow, Cv or SCFM number. Tell us your application and required flow, and we will confirm the datasheet curves and correct sizing on request before you order.
The A in the code selects an automatic drain, which expels collected condensate from the bowl without operator attention, unlike a manual or differential-pressure drain. With an automatic drain the regulator adjustment range is 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi); a manual-drain version widens the lower end to 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi).
