The AirTAC GFR400C10AJC2WTK AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT3/8 is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR400C10AJC2WTK is a size 400 filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and holds downstream pressure in one body. This configuration carries a 5 um filtration element (the W grade, against the 40 um standard), an automatic drain on the polycarbonate bowl, a round pressure gauge reading in psi, a reverse/check valve, and no mounting bracket. Regulation range is 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), and the operating temperature is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 in to 1 in, and can be ordered with manual, automatic or differential-pressure drains, a 40 um or 5 um element, embedded square or external round gauges in MPa, psi or bar scales, PT, G or NPT threads, and with or without a bracket. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Filtered and regulated air feeding the clamping fixtures and tool-changer cylinders on a CNC machining centre, keeping chips and condensate out of the fixtures while holding a steady clamp pressure.
Supply point for the air cylinders and grippers on an automotive sub-assembly line, where the 5 um element protects directional valves from fine particulate and the automatic drain clears condensate without operator rounds.
Regulated air for the pusher and diverter cylinders on a packaging conveyor, with the reverse/check valve holding downstream pressure if the upstream supply dips.
The real choices on this family are decodable from the code. Step the size (200/300/400/600) and its port (1/8 in to 1 in) against the air your machine actually uses - larger sizes carry more flow. Choose the drain: automatic (as here, code A) for unattended condensate removal, manual where an operator drains on schedule, or the differential-pressure default. Choose the filter grade: 40 um standard or 5 um (W) for finer protection of valves and cylinders. Pick the gauge and its scale (MPa, psi or bar), the thread (PT is standard; G and NPT are order options), and whether a bracket is included. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR400 series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Tell us your operating pressure and the air your equipment uses, and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet on request.
The GFR400 series is supplied with a 40 um element as standard; the W code on this model upgrades it to 5 um. The finer grade suits downstream directional valves, cylinders and air tools that suffer from finer particulate, while the automatic drain removes accumulated condensate without manual attention.
