The AirTAC GFR400C10AJF1WT AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT3/8 5 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR400C10AJF1WT is an AirTAC GFR400 filter regulator: water and particulate filtration plus downstream pressure regulation in a single body. This size 400 unit is threaded NPT3/8 (3/8 in), carries a 5 um filter element (code W, against the 40 um standard), drains condensate automatically, and is fitted with an embedded square gauge reading in MPa. The standard-type regulator covers an adjustment range of 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), and maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi). Operating temperature is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing. The size 400 bowl is polycarbonate, and this configuration is supplied without a mounting bracket.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 in to 1 in, and options including manual or differential-pressure drains, a 40 um standard element, gauge scale choices (MPa, psi or bar), an external round gauge, G/NPT thread variants and a reverse/check valve. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm sizing and any datasheet figure against your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Clean, regulated air to a machining centre's pneumatic tool-changer and clamping circuits, with the 5 um element protecting fine-control valves upstream of the regulator setting.
A filtered and regulated drop feeding conveyor diverters and wrapping-head cylinders on a packaging line, with automatic drain keeping condensate out of the circuit during continuous runs.
A point-of-use filter regulator at an assembly cell take-off, letting each cell set its own downstream pressure from the shared compressor ring while the 5 um element guards the cell's valves.
Size 400 with a 3/8 in port sits in the upper-middle of the GFR range; step up to size 600 or down to 300/200 according to the flow your line needs - we will check the curve with you rather than quote a single rating. The 5 um element (W) suits points of use that see finer contamination than the 40 um standard element handles. The automatic drain (A) empties the bowl without operator attention, against the manual (M) and differential-pressure defaults. The fitted square gauge reads MPa; psi or bar scales and an external round gauge are order options. This unit is supplied without a bracket (J), and PT is the standard thread while G and NPT are order options - this code specifies NPT.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not as a single rated number, so we do not state a l/min, m3/h or SCFM figure here. Send us your application conditions (inlet pressure, set pressure and required consumption) and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet curves on request before you order.
The W in the code specifies the 5 um filter element instead of the 40 um standard, for finer particulate removal, and the A specifies an automatic drain that discharges collected condensate from the polycarbonate bowl without manual intervention. Both are decodable choices: the 40 um element and a manual or differential-pressure drain are available as alternative configurations of the same GFR400 size.
