The AirTAC GFR400C10ALC1WT AirTAC Filter Regulator 3/8 in NPT is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR400C10ALC1WT is a size 400 filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration is built with a 3/8 in NPT port, a 5 um filter element (finer than the 40 um standard), an automatic drain that expels collected condensate without manual attention, and the low-pressure regulator type. A round pressure gauge with MPa scale is fitted, and a mounting bracket is included.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR series is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with a choice of PT, G (BSPP) or NPT threads, drain types, filter grades and gauge options. Flow figures are published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing or any datasheet detail for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| C1 | Port size See datasheet. This body offers 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |

| (blank) | Gauge scale: Factory standard. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeds filtered, regulated air to a pneumatic press cylinder at a bench station, with the 5 um element protecting the valve and cylinder seals from particulate and the automatic drain keeping condensate out of the supply.
Conditions the pilot-air feed to a bank of pneumatic control valves in a process plant, where the low-pressure regulator type matches modest working pressures and the round MPa gauge gives a clear local setpoint reading.
Mounted on the air inlet of a packaging machine, the unit filters and regulates the supply to actuators and air jets, with the included bracket fixing it to the machine frame and the automatic drain handling condensate during continuous shifts.
Start with the port: this unit is 3/8 in NPT, and the size 400 step should be matched to the flow your line needs - we can check the published flow curves against your demand before you order. The 5 um element (code W) suits applications needing finer filtration than the 40 um standard; the automatic drain suits unattended or hard-to-reach installations, where a manual or differential-pressure drain would otherwise be chosen. The low-pressure regulator type is selected where working pressures stay below standard-regulator levels; its exact adjustment range is not published, so confirm it with us. Gauge scale (MPa, psi or bar), thread (PT standard, G or NPT to order) and bracket choice are all decodable from the code.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number. Send us your application details and we will confirm the flow from the datasheet curves and check that the 3/8 in size 400 body is correctly sized before you order.
Both are decoded from the model code. The A position selects the automatic drain, which discharges collected condensate on its own instead of needing manual blowing-down, and the W position selects the 5 um filter element in place of the 40 um standard. If your application can tolerate coarser filtration or prefers a manual or differential-pressure drain, other GFR400 variants cover those choices.
