The AirTAC GFR400C10ALC2G AirTAC Filter Regulator G3/8 Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR400C10ALC2G is a GFR400-series filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration is the 400 size with a G3/8 (3/8 inch) port and G (BSPP) thread, fitted with an automatic drain that ejects collected condensate without manual attention, a 40 um standard filter element, and an external round gauge reading in psi. It is the low-pressure type, intended where regulated pressure sits below the standard regulator range, and includes a mounting bracket. Maximum working (inlet) pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the operating temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans the 200, 300, 400 and 600 sizes, with port options, drain types, filter grades (40 um standard, 5 um optional), gauge styles and scales, and bracket choices to suit the installation. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet and sizing for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeds filtered, low-pressure regulated air to spray guns on a paint or coating line, where the automatic drain keeps condensate out of the finish and the psi gauge lets operators set and verify spray pressure at the point of use.
Sits at the air inlet of a cartoning or wrapping machine, removing water and particles before the valves and cylinders and holding a steady low regulated pressure so sealing and actuation cycles stay repeatable through the shift.
Conditions and regulates the air feeding looms and winding heads, where delicate low-pressure actuation and clean air for thread-guiding jets matter; the round psi gauge gives operators a direct pressure check during changeover.
Start with size and port: the 400 size steps up in flow capacity and port from the 300, so match the G3/8 connection and expected air demand of the line. Choose the drain to suit access: this unit has an automatic drain, which suits installations that are not checked daily; manual and differential-pressure drains are available in the family. The 40 um element is the standard grade; specify the 5 um (W) option only where downstream equipment needs finer filtration. This unit carries a round psi gauge; embedded square gauges and MPa or bar scales are the other catalogue choices. Thread is G (BSPP) here; PT is the standard and G or NPT are order options. Bracket is included.
Because flow is published as curves and not a single rating, and this is the low-pressure type whose exact adjustment range is not published, ask us to confirm the datasheet and check the unit against your required pressure and flow before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for this series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a l/min, m3/h or SCFM number. Tell us your working pressure and air demand and we will confirm the sizing against the datasheet curves on request before you order.
The A in the code selects the automatic drain: collected condensate is ejected from the polycarbonate bowl without anyone opening it, which suits panels and machines that are not checked daily. Manual and differential-pressure drains are the other catalogue choices if your maintenance routine differs.
