The AirTAC GFR400C10ALC2GK AirTAC Filter Regulator G3/8 Auto Drain is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR400C10ALC2GK is a size 400 filter regulator: water and particulate filtration plus pressure regulation combined in one body. This configuration carries a G3/8 (BSPP) port, an automatic drain that ejects collected condensate without manual attention, a 40 um standard filter element, and the low-pressure regulator type. It is fitted with an external round gauge reading in psi, a reverse/check valve, and includes a mounting bracket. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing. The bowl at this size is polycarbonate (PC); only the 600 size uses an aluminium alloy bowl.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 to 1 inch, a choice of differential-pressure, automatic or manual drain, a 40 um standard or 5 um (code W) element, standard or low-pressure regulation, gauge and scale options, PT, G or NPT threads, and bracket choices. Flow figures are published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us and we will confirm the datasheet figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding cleaned, regulated low-pressure air to the filler and capper valve banks on a beverage bottling line, with the automatic drain keeping condensate out of the supply between washdown shifts.
Supplying filtered and regulated air to the divertor gates and stopper cylinders along a parcel-sorting conveyor, where the round psi gauge lets line staff verify set pressure at a glance.
Conditioning the air feeding pneumatic grippers and sample-handling actuators on an automated lab bench, where the low-pressure regulator type and 40 um filtration protect sensitive motion components.
Choose the size and port step (200/300/400/600, 1/8 to 1 inch) against the air demand of the circuit - larger sizes carry larger ports and more flow. On this unit the drain is automatic, which suits unattended or hard-to-reach installations; manual and differential-pressure drain versions exist if you prefer scheduled or load-linked purging. The 40 um element is the standard grade; specify code W for the 5 um element where downstream equipment needs finer filtration. Gauge scale (MPa, psi or bar) and thread (PT is the standard; G and NPT are order options) are decodable choices, as is the bracket.
One honest routing note: AirTAC publishes filter-regulator flow as curves, not as a single rated figure, and the exact adjustable range of the low-pressure type is not stated on the sheet we work from. Ask us to confirm sizing and the regulation range against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for this family as curves rather than a single rated number, so we do not quote a figure here. Tell us your application and we will confirm the flow and sizing against the datasheet on request before you order.
The L code makes this the low-pressure regulator variant rather than the standard one; the exact adjustable range for that variant is not published on the sheet we work from, so we confirm it on request. The C2 code means an external round gauge reading in psi is fitted; the embedded square gauge is the standard style, with MPa, psi and bar scales available.
