The AirTAC GFR400C10ALF1WT AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT3/8 Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR400C10ALF1WT is an AirTAC GFR-series filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates pressure downstream in a single body. This size 400 unit is built with a 3/8 in NPT port, a 5 um filter element, an automatic drain that clears collected condensate on its own, and the low-pressure regulator type. An embedded square gauge graduated in MPa is fitted so the set pressure can be read at a glance, a mounting bracket is included, and the unit is rated for compressed air at up to 1.0 MPa (145 psi) inlet in non-freezing conditions from -5 to 70 C.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 inch, and can be ordered with manual, automatic or differential-pressure drains, a 40 um standard or 5 um element, square or round gauges in MPa, psi or bar scales, and PT, G or NPT threads. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so send us your application and we will confirm the figures from the datasheet on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Point-of-use conditioning for carton-sealing cylinders and low-pressure clamps on a packaging line: the 5 um element keeps scale out of solenoid valves, the low-pressure regulator holds a gentle working pressure, and the automatic drain clears condensate between shifts.
Feeding sensitive test-rig gauges and low-pressure actuators on a bench: filtered, regulated air at reduced pressure, with the embedded MPa square gauge giving a direct reading of the set point.
Conditioning the air that drives diverter and reject gates on a bottling conveyor: the automatic-drain bowl handles condensate from humid plant air while the regulator keeps gate cylinders from slamming at full line pressure.
Choose the size by the port and flow step: size 400 with its 3/8 in NPT port suits lines that have outgrown 1/4 in point-of-use supply, while sizes 200 to 600 step up in port and flow together. This unit pairs a 5 um element (the 40 um standard element is the alternative code without W) with an automatic drain, so it suits installations where nobody wants to babysit a bowl; manual and differential-pressure drains are the other family options. The L in the code selects the low-pressure regulator type - its exact adjustment range is not published in the sheet we work from, so confirm it with us. The fitted square gauge reads in MPa, and psi or bar scales plus an external round gauge are order options. NPT is the thread on this unit; PT and G are order options, and a mounting bracket is included. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating - ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR400 series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Send us your line pressure, downstream demand and allowable pressure drop and we will confirm the flow from the datasheet on request before you order.
The A in the code selects an automatic drain, so collected condensate is expelled from the bowl without manual attention; manual and differential-pressure drains are the other options in the family. The L selects the low-pressure regulator type, and its exact adjustment range is not published in the sheet we work from, so confirm it with us. The 5 um element (code W) is the finer alternative to the 40 um standard.
