The AirTAC GFR400C10ALJC2T AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT3/8 Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR400C10ALJC2T is an AirTAC GFR400 filter regulator: water and particulate filtration plus pressure regulation combined in a single body. This configuration is the size 400 unit with a 3/8 in NPT port, an automatic drain that bleeds collected condensate from the polycarbonate bowl without manual attention, a 40 um standard filter element, and the low-pressure regulator type. It is fitted with an external round gauge reading in psi and supplied without a mounting bracket. Maximum working (inlet) pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the operating temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 in to 1 in, and options include manual or differential-pressure drains, a 5 um element (code W), MPa/psi/bar gauge scales, G (BSPP) or NPT threads in place of the PT standard, and mounting brackets. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so we confirm datasheet figures on request before you order.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeds filtered, regulated air to pneumatic clamps and hold-downs on a carton packaging line, where the low-pressure regulator type holds a modest setpoint and the automatic drain keeps condensate out of the valves.
Sits at the drop feeding air cylinders that divert cartons between conveyor lanes, filtering line water and particulate before the directional valves and holding the actuator pressure steady through shift-long cycling.
Conditions the shop-air supply on a pneumatic test bench, giving the operator a clean, regulated low-pressure feed with a psi-reading gauge for repeatable test setups.
Start with the port step: size 400 carries a 3/8 in port, and the GFR range steps through 200/300/400/600 with ports from 1/8 in to 1 in, so match the size to the air demand of the circuit rather than upsizing blindly. Drain choice matters in use: this unit has an automatic drain, which suits unattended or elevated installations; manual and differential-pressure drains are the alternatives in the family. The 40 um element is standard - specify the W code if the application needs 5 um filtration. Gauge scale is selectable (MPa, psi or bar); this unit is supplied with a round psi gauge. Thread is NPT here; PT is the AirTAC standard and G (BSPP) is also an order option. Bracket: this configuration omits it, but brackets are available in the family. Note this is the low-pressure regulator type; its adjustment range is not published in the material we hold, so confirm it with us. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating - ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR400 as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a l/min or SCFM number. Send us your application details and we will confirm the sizing against the datasheet curves on request before you order.
This configuration carries the A code, meaning the bowl drains collected condensate automatically. Choose manual drain if you prefer controlled, operator-initiated draining, or the differential-pressure default where draining on a pressure drop suits the installation. All three drain types are order options within the GFR400 family.
