The AirTAC GFR400C10ALJC3TK AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT3/8 is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR400C10ALJC3TK is a size 400 filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration has a 3/8 in NPT port, an automatic drain that expels collected condensate without manual attention, a 40 um standard filter element, and a low-pressure regulator type. A round pressure gauge scaled in bar is fitted, a reverse/check valve is included, and the unit is supplied without a mounting bracket. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR series is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 to 1 inch, a choice of differential-pressure, automatic or manual drains, 40 um or 5 um (W) filtration, standard or low-pressure regulation, gauge and thread options, and bracket choices. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm sizing and datasheet figures for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeds filtered, regulated air to clamp cylinders on a CNC fixture line, where the automatic drain keeps condensate out of the clamping circuit without an operator having to bleed the bowl each shift.
Sits ahead of spray guns or coating valves that need a gentler regulated supply than a standard regulator setting, with the 40 um element stopping pipe scale and the bar gauge giving a clear setpoint readout.
Prepares the air supply for actuator banks on a packaging conveyor, combining water and particulate removal with pressure regulation in one body and the check valve holding downstream pressure if the supply dips.
Start with the port step: this unit is size 400 with a 3/8 in NPT port; larger sizes carry larger ports and more flow capacity, so step up if your line needs more air. Choose the drain to match access: automatic (this unit) suits enclosed or infrequently visited installations, manual suits attended stations, and the differential-pressure default drains on load. Filtration is 40 um standard; specify the W code for 5 um where finer protection is needed. Gauges come as the embedded square type or an external round gauge in MPa, psi or bar scales - this unit carries a round bar gauge. PT is the standard thread; G (BSPP) and NPT are order options. A bracket is optional (this unit omits it), and a reverse/check valve can be fitted (this unit has one). Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a rated flow, Cv or SCFM number. Tell us your application and we will confirm the flow and sizing figures from the datasheet on request before you order.
The A in the code sets the automatic drain, which ejects collected condensate by itself - useful where the unit is mounted in an enclosed cabinet or an unattended line. The L sets the low-pressure regulator type, intended for applications needing lower regulated pressures than the standard type. The exact regulation range for the low-pressure type is not published in our sheet, so ask us to confirm it on request.
