The AirTAC GFR400C10ALJF2 AirTAC Filter Regulator PT3/8 Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR400C10ALJF2 is a size-400 filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in one body. This configuration carries a PT3/8 port, a 40 um standard filter element, an automatic drain that evacuates collected condensate without manual attention, and a low-pressure regulator type for circuits that run below standard regulated pressures. It ships from the factory with the embedded square gauge on the psi scale, no mounting bracket, and no reverse/check valve. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing); the bowl on this 400 size is polycarbonate.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR filter-regulator family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 to 1 inch, and with choices of drain type, 40 um or 5 um (W) filtration, gauge scale, thread (PT standard, G and NPT to order) and bracket. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet and sizing for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeds and regulates the air to clamping cylinders that must hold workpieces at reduced pressure, with the automatic drain keeping condensate out of the clamp valves on a cell that runs unattended.
Mounted at the drop feeding a carton-sealing or wrapping machine, it cleans the supply of water and particles and holds a steady, lower regulated pressure to the machine's air cylinders.
Conditions the air feeding gripper and slide actuators at individual stations, protecting seals from water and debris while the psi gauge lets technicians set and verify the station pressure.
Size and port are the first choice: step up through 200/300/400/600 as your required flow and piping grow - this unit is the 400 size with a PT3/8 port. For the drain, automatic suits points that are hard to reach or run unattended; manual suits attended stations; differential-pressure is the default. Filter grade is 40 um standard here, with 5 um (code W) available when finer particle removal is needed. The gauge is the embedded square type on the psi scale; MPa or bar scales and an external round gauge are alternatives. Thread is PT as standard, with G (BSPP) and NPT as order options, and the bracket is omitted on this code (J) but can be specified. Note this is the low-pressure regulator type; its exact adjustment range is not published in the sheet we work from. Flow for the whole family is published as curves, not a single rating, so send us your flow and pressure conditions and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not as a single rated number, so we do not quote a l/min, m3/h or SCFM figure. Tell us your inlet pressure, set pressure and required flow, and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet curves on request before you order.
The A in the code means the bowl drains collected condensate automatically, without anyone opening a drain valve - useful for unattended or hard-to-reach installations. The alternatives in the family are manual drain (code M) and the differential-pressure drain, which is the default when no drain letter appears. The low-pressure regulator type on this code is also a decode choice; its exact adjustment range is not published, so confirm it with us on request.
