The AirTAC GFR400C10ANT AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT3/8 Auto Drain is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR400C10ANT is an AirTAC GFR400 filter regulator: one body that removes water and particulate from compressed air and then regulates downstream pressure. This configuration is sized for a 3/8 in NPT port, carries the standard 40 um filter element, and is fitted with an automatic drain, so collected condensate is discharged without anyone opening the bowl. The standard regulator covers an adjustment range of 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), and operating temperature is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing). No gauge is fitted on this variant, and a mounting bracket is included.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with a choice of ports, thread forms (PT standard, with G and NPT as order options), drain types, and 5 um (code W) or 40 um filtration. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet and sizing for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding clean, pressure-controlled air to a bench or C-frame pneumatic press, where the automatic drain keeps condensate out of the cylinder and valve package between shifts.
Supplying the flap-fold and taping cylinders on a carton-sealing conveyor line, with the regulator set to the pressure the sealer manufacturer specifies.
Conditioning the air supply to a workholding fixture circuit on a CNC machine, where stable regulated pressure keeps clamping force consistent part after part.
Step through the decodable choices in order. First, size and port: 200, 300, 400 and 600 step up in port and flow capacity, so match the 3/8 in port here against your supply line and the flow your actuators need. Second, drain type: automatic (this unit) discharges condensate by itself, manual needs a routine drain visit, and differential-pressure drains only when the pressure drop across the element is high enough. Third, filter grade: 40 um is the standard element and 5 um (code W) suits finer protection downstream. Fourth, gauge: this variant ships without one, but gauge versions with square or round dials and MPa, psi or bar scales exist. Finally, thread: PT is the standard, with G (BSPP) and NPT as catalogue options to order, and a bracket is included.
One honest note before you order: flow is published as curves, not a single rated number, so we cannot quote a rated flow figure here. Send us your application details and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you commit.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR400 as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a rated flow, Cv or SCFM number. Send us your line pressure, port size and downstream demand and we will confirm the datasheet curve and correct sizing for your application on request.
The A in the code GFR400C10ANT selects the automatic drain, which discharges collected condensate on its own instead of waiting for a manual drain visit. The N selects no gauge, so this variant is supplied without a pressure gauge; gauge-equipped variants with square or round dials and MPa, psi or bar scales are available in the same family if you want a local set-pressure readout.
