The AirTAC GFR400C10C2 AirTAC Filter Regulator, PT3/8, 40 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR400C10C2 is an AirTAC GFR400 filter regulator: water and particulate filtration plus pressure regulation combined in a single body. This configuration is the size 400 unit with a PT3/8 port, a 40 um filter element, a differential-pressure drain, a standard regulator adjustable from 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), and a round pressure gauge reading in psi. A mounting bracket is included, and the unit handles a maximum inlet pressure of 1.0 MPa (145 psi) at -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR series is offered in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 to 1 inch, a choice of differential-pressure, automatic or manual drain, 40 um standard or 5 um (code W) filtration, embedded square or external round gauges with MPa, psi or bar scales, and G (BSPP) or NPT thread as order options. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Clean, regulated air feeding the pneumatic cylinders that fold and seal cartons on a packaging conveyor, keeping actuator pressure steady through each shift.
Point-of-use filter regulation for hand-held pneumatic tools and clamps at an assembly cell, removing water and pipe scale before they reach the tools.
Conditioned supply air upstream of directional control valves on a bottling or material-handling line, protecting spools and seals from condensate and grit.
Size 400 with a 3/8 in PT port is the mid-large class in the GFR range; step up to 600 or down to 300/200 if your demand points elsewhere. The differential-pressure drain on this unit bleeds accumulated condensate automatically as the pressure drop across the filter changes, with automatic (A) and manual (M) drains available as alternatives. The 40 um element is standard; specify 5 um (code W) where finer filtration is needed. The round gauge fitted here reads in psi, and MPa or bar scales can be ordered instead. Thread is PT as standard, with G (BSPP) and NPT available to order, and the bracket is included. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR400 as performance curves rather than a single rated figure, so there is no one l/min or SCFM number we can quote honestly. Send us your line pressure, downstream demand and allowable pressure drop, and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet on request.
The differential-pressure drain fitted to this unit discharges condensate from the bowl automatically as the pressure drop across the filter element changes, with no operator intervention. If your duty cycle suits timed or manual draining instead, GFR400 units with automatic (A) or manual (M) drains can be ordered, and the regulation range differs by drain type: 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi) for this differential-pressure version.
