The AirTAC GFR400C10C2G AirTAC Filter Regulator G3/8 (3/8 in) is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR400C10C2G is a size 400 filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in one body. This configuration carries a G3/8 (3/8 in) G-thread port, a 40 um standard filtration element, a differential-pressure drain bowl, and a fitted round pressure gauge reading in psi. The standard regulator covers an adjustment range of 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), with a maximum inlet pressure of 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and an operating temperature of -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port options from 1/8 in to 1 in, a choice of 40 um or 5 um (code W) filtration, differential-pressure, automatic or manual drains, square or round gauges with MPa, psi or bar scales, and G or NPT threads as order options. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Point-of-use conditioning ahead of the pneumatic tool-changer and clamping circuits on a CNC machining centre, giving the machine its own clean, regulated air tap off the 3/8 in plant ring main.
Filtering and regulating the air feeding cylinder-driven diverters, pushers and seal jaws on a carton packaging conveyor, with the differential-pressure drain keeping the bowl clear through continuous shifts.
Conditioning the supply to pneumatic valve islands and gripper circuits on a bottling line, where the round psi gauge lets maintenance set and verify line pressure at the machine rather than at the compressor room.
Size 400 with a G3/8 (3/8 in) port sits in the upper-middle of the GFR range; step up to size 600 or down to 300/200 depending on the flow your line needs. The 40 um element suits general plant air; specify the W code for 5 um where finer protection matters. The differential-pressure drain bleeds the bowl automatically as flow passes, with no operator attention. The fitted round gauge reads in psi; square embedded gauges and MPa or bar scales are alternatives. PT is the standard thread and G or NPT are order options; this unit carries the G option. No reverse/check valve is fitted on this code, and the mounting bracket is included.
Flow for this family is published as curves, not a single rated figure, so send us your application details and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so there is no one l/min or SCFM number we can honestly quote. Send us your application details and we will confirm the sizing against the datasheet curves on request before you order.
This code has no drain letter, so it carries the differential-pressure drain: the bowl bleeds condensate automatically as air flows through the unit, with no operator attention. If you prefer full control you can order the M (manual) variant, or the A (automatic) variant for timed float draining; the manual-drain variant also widens the regulator adjustment range down to 0.05 MPa.
