The AirTAC GFR400C10C2K AirTAC Filter Regulator PT3/8 with Gauge is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR400C10C2K is a size 400 filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration has a PT3/8 (3/8 in) port, a 40 um standard filter element, a differential-pressure drain, a fitted round gauge reading in psi, a reverse/check valve, and a mounting bracket. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), the standard regulator adjusts from 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), and the operating temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing). The polycarbonate bowl suits the 400 size.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 in to 1 in, and with choices of drain type, 40 um or 5 um filtration, gauge type and scale, PT, G or NPT thread, and bracket options. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us and we will confirm the datasheet figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Point-of-use conditioning on a CNC machining centre: the 40 um element strips water and swarf-laden condensate from the shop air drop, and the regulator sets a stable supply pressure to the machine's pneumatic actuation circuits, with the psi gauge giving operators a local reading.
Conditioning the air feeding cylinders and grippers on a carton packaging conveyor line: the filter regulator cleans the compressed air and holds the pressure the pick-and-place actuators were set up at, while the check valve helps hold the downstream circuit if upstream supply dips.
Regulated, filtered air to spray guns and air-assisted applicators in an automotive paint booth: clean, water-reduced air at a set pressure from the 40 um element and regulator, with the differential-pressure drain clearing collected condensate during shift operation.
Start with the port step: this unit is size 400 with a PT3/8 (3/8 in) port; smaller and larger GFR sizes cover 1/8 in to 1 in, so match the size to the air demand of the circuit. Choose the drain type: differential-pressure (this unit, default), automatic (code A) for unattended draining, or manual (code M). Choose the filter grade: 40 um standard as fitted here, or 5 um (code W) where finer particulate removal is needed. The fitted round gauge reads in psi; square embedded gauges and MPa, psi or bar scales are the other gauge choices. Thread is PT as standard, with G (BSPP) and NPT as order options; a bracket is included with this unit.
Flow for this family is published as curves, not a single rated number, so we cannot quote a rated flow here. Send us your application details and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet curves before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR family as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a rated flow, Cv or SCFM number here. Send us your inlet pressure and air demand and we will confirm the datasheet curve figures for this PT3/8 unit on request before you order.
Differential-pressure drain (the default on this GFR400C10C2K) drains the bowl as pressure differential builds. If the unit sits on a line that runs unattended, the automatic drain (code A) removes the need for someone to attend the bowl; manual drain (code M) is the hands-on choice. All three drain types are order options across the GFR range - tell us how the unit will be operated and we will confirm the right code.
