The AirTAC GFR400C10C3WTK AirTAC Filter Regulator 3/8 in NPT is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR400C10C3WTK is a 400-size filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and holds downstream pressure in one body. This configuration is threaded 3/8 in NPT, carries the fine 5 um filter element (code W), drains condensate by differential pressure, and is supplied with a round pressure gauge reading in bar. A reverse/check valve (code K) is fitted, the mounting bracket is included, and the polycarbonate bowl gives a clear view of collected condensate.
It is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR line spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 in to 1 in, manual or automatic drain options, 40 um or 5 um elements, square or round gauges in MPa, psi or bar scales, and G (BSPP) or NPT threads alongside the PT standard. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Clean, regulated air to the press valves: the 5 um element keeps scale and pipe debris out of the valve seats while the regulator holds a steady working pressure for consistent stroke force.
Feeding case-sealers and diverters on a packaging conveyor: the differential-pressure drain clears condensate while the line runs, and the bar gauge gives operators a visible setpoint at the machine.
Point-of-use prep for a robot cell: the fitted reverse/check valve holds downstream pressure if the supply drops, protecting the gripper circuit while filtration and regulation stay in one 3/8 in NPT unit.
Size and port step up with demand: 200, 300, 400 and 600 bodies cover 1/8 in to 1 in ports, so choose the 400 body with 3/8 in NPT when your circuit sits in that band - we will confirm the flow curve against your requirement before you order. The element is 40 um standard or 5 um (this unit, code W) where finer particulate protection matters. With the differential-pressure drain fitted here, the set-pressure range is 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi); automatic (A) and manual (M) drain versions exist in the same family. Gauge scale is selectable - MPa, psi or bar - and this code carries the round gauge in bar. Thread is NPT on this unit; PT is the AirTAC standard and G (BSPP) is also available to order. The bracket is included, and a no-bracket (J) version of the GFR exists.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes GFR400 flow as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote one number. Send us your inlet pressure, set pressure and air demand, and we will confirm the datasheet curve and sizing for your application before you order.
The W code on this model fits the optional 5 um element for finer particulate removal ahead of sensitive valves and cylinders. If your circuit only needs general water and dirt removal, the 40 um standard-element version of the same GFR400 body is the lower-restriction choice.
