The AirTAC GFR400C10JF2WGK AirTAC Filter Regulator G3/8, 5 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR400C10JF2WGK is an AirTAC GFR400 filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration is built around a G3/8 (BSPP) port with the finer 5 um filter element (code W, against the 40 um standard), a differential-pressure drain on the bowl, an embedded square gauge scaled in psi, and a reverse (check) valve fitted. The regulator is the standard type with an adjustment range of 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), against a maximum inlet pressure of 1.0 MPa (145 psi). No mounting bracket is included (code J), and the operating temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 inch, and can be ordered with manual or automatic drains, a 40 um or 5 um element, MPa, psi or bar gauge scales, and PT, G or NPT threads. On size 400 the bowl is polycarbonate (only size 600 uses aluminium alloy). Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Conditioning the air feeding the actuation valves on a bottling line: water and fine particulate are stripped out and downstream pressure is held at the set point so filler and capper cylinders repeat consistently.
A filtered, regulated supply for the air cylinders that divert cartons on a distribution conveyor, with the fitted check valve guarding the circuit against backflow when upstream supply dips.
Point-of-use preparation at a plant maintenance air drop, giving technicians clean, pressure-adjusted air at the bench without a trip back to the compressor room to make changes.
Choose the size by the port and flow step: this unit is size 400 with a G3/8 port; step up or down through 200/300/400/600 if your line needs a different port. Drain type matters: this unit uses the differential-pressure drain, which discharges as the pressure differential across the element builds, while automatic (A) and manual (M) variants are order options. Filtration here is the 5 um grade; the standard 40 um element suits applications that tolerate coarser air. The gauge is the embedded square type scaled in psi; MPa or bar scales, or an external round gauge, are alternatives. The thread is G (BSPP); PT is the standard thread and G or NPT are order options. No bracket is fitted (J), so plan your own mounting. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating - ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Tell us your application and we will confirm the flow figures from the datasheet for this size 400, G3/8 unit on request.
The 40 um element is the GFR standard; the W code orders the finer 5 um grade for applications where finer particulate must be kept out of downstream valves and cylinders. This unit carries the 5 um element. If your application tolerates coarser filtration, the 40 um version of the same size is available to order.
