The AirTAC GFR400C10JNT AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT 3/8 in is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR400C10JNT is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and holds downstream pressure at your setpoint in a single body. This size 400 unit has a 3/8 in NPT port, a 40 um filter element and the differential-pressure drain, the family's default drain type. The regulator is the standard type with a 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi) adjustment range, maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), and the operating temperature is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing). No gauge is fitted and no mounting bracket is supplied; the bowl on size 400 units is polycarbonate.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 in, and can be ordered with a 5 um element (code W), automatic or manual drain, a square or round gauge scaled in MPa, psi or bar, G (BSPP) or NPT thread, and a bracket where required. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing and datasheet figures for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding air to clamps and small press cylinders on an assembly cell, where the 40 um element keeps scale and pipe debris out of the valves and the regulator holds a steady setpoint to the tooling.
Supplying pick-and-place cylinders and product diverters on a packaging conveyor, with filtration and regulation in one body to save panel space and keep moisture out of the actuator circuit.
A size 400 drop point serving a machine bay: filtered, regulated air at the point of use for air tools, blow-off guns and general actuation, with the differential-pressure drain handling condensate.
The real choices on this family: step up or down in size (200/300/400/600) and port (1/8 to 1 in) to match the air your line needs; choose the drain - differential-pressure (default, as fitted here), automatic (code A) or manual (code M); pick the filter grade, 40 um standard or 5 um with code W for finer particulate; and specify the thread, PT as standard or G (BSPP) / NPT as order options - this unit is NPT 3/8 in. Units with a regulator can also carry an embedded square gauge or an external round gauge scaled in MPa, psi or bar; this configuration has none fitted. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so send us your application and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Tell us your application and we will confirm the flow and the full datasheet figures for this model on request before you order.
This unit has the differential-pressure drain, the default for the GFR family. Code A gives an automatic drain and code M a manual drain; all three are available across the GF, GFR, GFC and GC families. Note that the regulator adjustment range differs by drain type: 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi) with the automatic or differential-pressure drain, and 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi) with the manual drain.
