The AirTAC GFR400C10LC2T AirTAC Filter Regulator 3/8 in NPT is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR400C10LC2T is a size 400 filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration has a 3/8 in NPT port, the standard 40 um filter element, a differential-pressure drain that bleeds collected condensate automatically whenever the pressure differential across the element rises, and a low-pressure regulator type. An external round gauge with a psi scale is fitted so the set pressure can be read directly at the unit. Maximum working (inlet) pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the operating temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing). The polycarbonate bowl keeps the condensate level visible, and a mounting bracket is included.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 in to 1 in, a choice of 40 um or 5 um (W) filtration, differential-pressure, automatic or manual drains, square or round gauges with MPa, psi or bar scales, and PT, G or NPT threads. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet and sizing for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeds cleaned, pressure-regulated air to a clamp-and-press station on a machining line, where the low-pressure regulator type holds a reduced set pressure for delicate clamping work and the 40 um element keeps wear particles out of the cylinder valves.
Mounted at the air inlet of a cartoning or wrapping machine, the unit strips condensate and pipe-scale from the plant supply while the differential-pressure drain clears the bowl without operator intervention between shifts.
Supplies the sortation and stopper cylinders on a conveyor line, with the fitted round psi gauge letting line technicians read and verify the set pressure at the unit during changeover.
Start with the port and size step: size 400 with a 3/8 in NPT port suits lines that need more flow than a 300-size unit, but the right step depends on the air demand of the circuit, so match it against the application rather than the port alone. This unit is the low-pressure regulator type - if your process runs at reduced set pressures, that is the correct choice; the exact regulation range for the low-pressure type is not published, so confirm it with us. The 40 um element is the standard grade for general plant air; choose the 5 um (W) option only where finer particulate removal is specified. The differential-pressure drain is fitted here; automatic (A) or manual (M) drains are alternatives if your maintenance routine calls for them. The round psi gauge is fitted; square gauges and MPa or bar scales are also available. Thread is NPT here, with PT (standard) and G as order options, and a mounting bracket is included.
Because flow is published as curves and not as a single rated number, we cannot quote one figure here. Send us your application details and we will confirm the sizing and the full datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Send us your application - port size, downstream demand and set pressure - and we will confirm the sizing against the datasheet curves before you order.
The L in the code marks the low-pressure regulator type, intended for circuits that run at reduced set pressures; the exact regulation range for the low-pressure type is not published, so confirm it with us. Drain is the differential-pressure type (blank code position): condensate is discharged automatically as the pressure differential across the 40 um element rises, with no manual draining required in normal service.
