The AirTAC GFR400C10LC2WG AirTAC Filter Regulator G3/8, 5 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR400C10LC2WG is an AirTAC GFR400 filter regulator: water and particulate filtration plus pressure regulation combined in a single body. This configuration is a size 400 unit with a G3/8 (3/8 in) port on G thread, the low-pressure regulator type, a 5 um filter element (code W) for finer filtration than the standard 40 um grade, a differential-pressure drain, a round psi gauge fitted, a metal bowl and an included mounting bracket. No reverse/check valve is fitted. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR series spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with a choice of ports, thread options, drain types, 40 um or 5 um filtration grades, gauge styles and scales, so a configuration can be matched to most compressed-air preparation points. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so we confirm flow and datasheet figures on request before you order.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

On fixture and clamping circuits that must run at reduced setpoints, a low-pressure type filter regulator conditions the air and holds the working pressure downstream of the valve stack, with 5 um filtration protecting the clamping cylinders.
At the drop to a spray or coating station, this unit filters water and particulate from the shop air at 5 um and regulates supply pressure to the applicator, with the psi gauge giving operators a direct reading at the point of use.
On packaging and conveyor machinery with air-driven actuators, a combined filter regulator at the machine inlet keeps moisture and debris out of the valves and cylinders while setting the pressure the machine was designed around.
Step through the real choices when selecting a GFR unit: pick the size and port (200 through 600, larger sizes carry larger ports) against the air demand of the circuit; choose the drain type - differential-pressure (this model), automatic or manual; choose the filter grade, 40 um standard or 5 um (W) where finer filtration is needed, as specified here; select the gauge style and scale (embedded square gauge standard, external round gauge optional, MPa/psi/bar scales); and set the thread - PT is the standard, with G (BSPP) and NPT as catalogue options, G being specified on this unit. A bracket can be included or omitted.
Because flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, ask us to confirm sizing and the datasheet for your application before ordering. The exact regulation range of the low-pressure type is not published in our sheet; we confirm it on request.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for this series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number. Tell us your application and we will confirm the flow and the full datasheet for this model on request before you order.
The W in the code GFR400C10LC2WG selects the optional 5 um filter grade, one step finer than the 40 um standard element. Choose 5 um where downstream valves, cylinders or applicators need cleaner air; the 40 um grade remains the default across the GFR range if coarser filtration is sufficient.
