GFR400C10LJC2T AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT3/8 Low-Pressure

The AirTAC GFR400C10LJC2T AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT3/8 Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.

About the GFR400C10LJC2T AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT3/8 Low-Pressure

The GFR400C10LJC2T is an AirTAC GFR400 filter regulator: a single body that removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure. This configuration has 3/8 in NPT ports, the standard 40 um filter element, a differential-pressure drain that bleeds collected water from the bowl as air passes, low-pressure regulation for circuits that run well below standard line pressure, and an external round gauge reading in psi. It is supplied without a mounting bracket.

This is a genuine AirTAC part from the GFR400 size, one of four sizes (200, 300, 400, 600) spanning ports from 1/8 to 1 inch. Drain type, filter grade (40 um standard, 5 um optional), gauge scale and G/NPT thread variants can be ordered to suit the installation. AirTAC publishes flow for this series as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm flow and datasheet figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

GFR400G-series filter regulator, 400 body — sets the port range.
C1Port size See datasheet. This body offers 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2".
(blank)Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)).
(blank)Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type.
(blank)Mounting bracket included.
(blank)Pressure gauge fitted (blank).
(blank)Gauge shape: Factory standard. C is round, F is square.
(blank)Gauge scale: Factory standard. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar.
(blank)Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist.
(blank)PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT.
(blank)No reverse-flow valve (the default).

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.

A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Where the GFR400C10LJC2T AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT3/8 Low-Pressure Is Used

build

Paint spray lines

Regulates low-pressure air ahead of spray guns in a finishing booth, with the 40 um element catching water and pipe scale that would otherwise spoil finish quality.

conveyor_belt

Packaging machinery

Feeds low-pressure actuation circuits on a carton-sealing or wrapping line, holding a steady set pressure while the differential-pressure drain clears collected water.

science

Lab air benches

Suits test benches and pilot rigs that run at reduced pressure, where the round psi gauge gives a direct readout and NPT3/8 ports match standard fittings.

Is the GFR400C10LJC2T AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT3/8 Low-Pressure the Right Unit?

The real choices in this series are decodable from the code. Step the size (200/300/400/600) and its port - here size 400 with NPT3/8 - against the flow your line needs. Then pick the drain (differential-pressure as fitted here, automatic, or manual), the element grade (40 um standard, 5 um with code W), the gauge and its scale (MPa, psi or bar), and the thread (PT is the standard; G and NPT are order options, NPT on this unit). Bracket and reverse/check valve options complete the list. Max inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing. AirTAC publishes flow as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.

Quick checklist

  • ✓ Body size for your peak flow (See datasheet here)
  • ✓ Element 40 µm or 5 µm
  • ✓ Drain sets the regulating band
  • ✓ Gauge fitted, shape and scale
  • ✓ Thread PT, G (BSPP) or NPT
  • ✓ Oil needed downstream? Use GFC instead

Installation & Maintenance Notes

  • check Mount vertically, bowl down, following the airflow arrow.
  • check One body does the filtering and the regulating — no separate regulator needed.
  • check Keep inlet pressure at or below 1.0 MPa (145 psi).
  • check Adjust only within 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi).
  • check Drain condensate before the bowl fills.
  • check Keep the unit above freezing (-5 to +70 °C, unfreeze).

The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.

GFR400C10LJC2T AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT3/8 Low-Pressure FAQ

AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR400 as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Send us your line pressure and expected air demand and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet on request.

C2 specifies the external round gauge with a psi scale, and J means the unit is supplied without a mounting bracket (a bracket is available as an option). This unit also carries the standard 40 um element and a differential-pressure drain; an automatic or manual drain, a 5 um element and a different gauge scale can be ordered instead.
