The AirTAC GFR400C10LJNTK AirTAC Filter Regulator 3/8 in NPT is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR400C10LJNTK is an AirTAC GFR-series filter regulator: filtration and pressure regulation combined in a single body. It removes water and particulate from compressed air at the standard 40 um grade, then regulates downstream pressure as a low-pressure type unit. This configuration has a 3/8 in NPT port in the size-400 body, a differential-pressure drain that bleeds collected condensate whenever the pressure differential across the element rises, and a built-in reverse/check valve that holds downstream pressure when the upstream supply is lost. No gauge is fitted and no mounting bracket is included, so plan for panel or line mounting and add a gauge separately if you need a local pressure indication.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is offered in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with a choice of PT, G (BSPP) or NPT threads, manual, automatic or differential-pressure drains, a 5 um element option, gauge variants and a reverse/check valve option. Maximum working (inlet) pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the operating temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing). Rated flow is published as curves rather than a single figure, so ask us and we will confirm the datasheet figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

On a CNC machining cell, air to the clamping cylinders passes through this unit: the 40 um element strips water and swarf-carried particulate before the low-pressure regulator sets a reduced, stable clamp pressure, and the check valve holds the clamp if the shop air drops.
On a carton-forming and sealing line, this filter regulator conditions the air feeding the case-erect and seal cylinders. The differential-pressure drain clears condensate as the line breathes, keeping moisture out of the valves and actuators downstream.
In a finishing plant, air knives and blow-off nozzles run off a branch conditioned by this unit. The 40 um filter keeps pipe scale and water out of the nozzles while the low-pressure type regulator holds the gentle, reduced pressure the blow-off station needs.
Size and port are the first choice: step up through 200, 300, 400 and 600 as your port size and air demand grow - this unit is size 400 with a 3/8 in NPT port. Choose the drain to suit attendance: differential-pressure (as fitted here) drains automatically with flow, automatic drains on a timer-free basis, and manual drains suit supervised installations. Filter grade is 40 um standard or 5 um (code W) where finer particulate removal is needed; this unit carries the standard 40 um element. Gauge options are an embedded square gauge or an external round gauge in MPa, psi or bar scales - this configuration has no gauge. Thread is PT as standard with G (BSPP) and NPT as order options; this unit is NPT. A J code deletes the bracket, and the K code here adds a reverse/check valve. Because flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number. Tell us your line pressure, downstream pressure and air demand and we will confirm the datasheet flow figures for this 3/8 in NPT, size-400 unit on request before you order.
The K code means a reverse/check valve is fitted, so downstream pressure is held if the upstream supply fails. The L code marks this as the low-pressure type of regulator. The N code means no gauge is supplied; if you want a local pressure reading, order a gauge variant or add a separate gauge. The J code deletes the mounting bracket.
