The AirTAC GFR400C10LNT AirTAC Filter Regulator, NPT3/8, Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR400C10LNT is an AirTAC GFR-series filter regulator: water and particulate filtration plus pressure regulation combined in a single body. This size 400 unit has a 3/8 in NPT port, the standard 40 um filter element, and a differential-pressure drain (the default drain option for this family). It is the low-pressure regulator type, and no gauge is fitted (code N); a mounting bracket is included. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing. The bowl on the 400 frame is polycarbonate; only the 600 size uses an aluminium alloy bowl.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 in, and can be ordered with automatic or manual drains, a 5 um element (code W), an embedded square gauge or an external round gauge in MPa, psi or bar scales, G (BSPP) or NPT threads, and with or without a bracket. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

On a machining fixture that clamps at reduced pressure to avoid marking the workpiece, the GFR400C10LNT filters the incoming shop air and regulates the circuit down to the low setting the fixture was designed around.
Feeding cylinders and actuators on a packaging machine, this unit removes water and particulate from the compressed air and lets the line set a reduced working pressure at the drop, with the differential-pressure drain dealing with collected condensate.
A blow-off station running air knives at reduced pressure gets filtered air and a stable low regulated supply from this unit, with the included bracket allowing it to be mounted beside the station.
Choose the size by port and required flow: size 400 carries a 3/8 in port within the 200/300/400/600 range (1/8 to 1 in). Drain choice is differential-pressure (this unit), automatic (code A) or manual (code M). Filtration is the standard 40 um element; specify W for the 5 um grade where finer filtration is needed. This example is the low-pressure regulator type with no gauge; other variants add an embedded square gauge or an external round gauge scaled in MPa, psi or bar. Thread is NPT here; PT is the standard and G (BSPP) is also a catalogue option, ordered as a specification choice. A bracket is included on this unit. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Send us your application details and we will confirm the datasheet flow curve and sizing for this size 400, 3/8 in unit before you order.
Not on this code: N means no gauge is supplied. The GFR family is available with an embedded square gauge or an external round gauge, scaled in MPa, psi or bar, so order a gauge-coded variant if you need a visible downstream pressure reading.
