The AirTAC GFR400C10MC2 AirTAC Filter Regulator PT3/8, 40 um, psi gauge is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR400C10MC2 is an AirTAC GFR-series filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and holds downstream pressure at your setpoint in a single body. This size 400 unit has a PT3/8 port, a polycarbonate (PC) bowl with manual drain, a 40 um standard filter element, and a round pressure gauge reading in psi. With a manual drain, an operator opens the drain valve to expel collected condensate, which suits installations where bowls are checked as part of a routine walk-round. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi); the regulating range on this manual-drain version is 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi); the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing). A mounting bracket is included.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8" to 1", and options include differential-pressure, automatic or manual drains, a 5 um element (code W), embedded square or external round gauges with MPa, psi or bar scales, G (BSPP) or NPT threads, low-pressure variants and a reverse/check valve. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet and sizing for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Filtered, regulated air feeding the machine tool's solenoid valves and pneumatic clamps, with the manual-drain bowl emptied during shift-start checks and the psi gauge giving a local setpoint readout.
Stable downstream pressure for carton-sealer and case-packer cylinders on a bottling or food-packaging conveyor, with the 40 um element catching pipe scale and the drain catching condensate.
Clean, regulated air ahead of directional control valves on an assembly-station manifold, where the round psi gauge lets operators verify the setpoint without extra instrumentation.
Choose the size by the flow your line needs: 200, 300, 400 and 600 step up in port and capacity, and this 400 model carries a 3/8 in PT port. Pick the drain to match your maintenance routine: manual (this unit) needs a scheduled blow-down, automatic drains on its own, and differential-pressure drains when you want the bowl emptied by a pressure differential. Filter grade is 40 um standard (this unit) or 5 um with code W for finer particulate. Gauges: an embedded square gauge is standard and an external round gauge is optional, with MPa, psi or bar scales - this unit carries a round psi gauge. Threads: PT is standard; G (BSPP) and NPT are order options. A mounting bracket is included. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so send us your flow and pressure requirements and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes GFR flow as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a rated flow number. Send us your required flow and working pressure and we will confirm sizing from the datasheet on request.
It is a manual drain: condensate collected in the polycarbonate (PC) bowl is released by opening the drain valve during routine checks. If you would rather the bowl empty itself, an automatic-drain version is available in the same size - ask us to quote it.
