The AirTAC GFR400C10MC2TK AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT3/8 with Gauge is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR400C10MC2TK is an AirTAC GFR400 filter regulator: one body that removes water and particulate from compressed air and holds downstream pressure steady. This configuration is the size 400 unit with a 3/8 in NPT port, the standard 40 um filter element, a manual drain you open by hand to empty collected condensate, a fitted round gauge reading in psi, a reverse (check) valve, and the mounting bracket included. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), the regulator adjusts from 0.05 to 0.9 MPa (7-130 psi), and the operating temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with a choice of ports, PT, G or NPT threads, differential-pressure, automatic or manual drains, a 5 um element option, gauge style and scale, and a low-pressure regulator type. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us and we will confirm the datasheet figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding air to clamp cylinders on a fabrication press, where the regulator holds a consistent clamping pressure and the 40 um element and drain keep water and swarf out of the valve stack.
Supplying clean, regulated air to the pick-and-place cylinders and sealing jaws of a carton or bag packaging line, with the check valve holding the set pressure if the supply dips.
Conditioning the shop-air feed to a machining centre's tool-change and coolant-spray circuits, where the psi gauge gives the operator a visible setpoint and the manual drain suits a daily-check routine.
Size 400 with a 3/8 in port sits in the middle of the GFR range; step up to 600 or down to 300/200 depending on the flow your line needs, and match the port to your piping. This unit has a manual drain, which suits installations where an operator can bleed the bowl on a routine; choose the automatic drain variant for unattended duty. The standard 40 um element protects most actuators and valves; specify the 5 um (W) option where finer filtration is required. The fitted round gauge reads in psi; square embedded gauges and MPa or bar scales are the alternatives. NPT is ordered as an option alongside the PT standard and G thread. A bracket is included for wall or panel fixing.
Because flow is published as curves and not as a single rated figure, send us your application details and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR400 as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number that is not on the datasheet. Send us your application details and we will confirm the flow and sizing figures from the datasheet on request.
The M in the code specifies a manual drain: condensate collected in the bowl is emptied by opening the drain by hand, which suits installations visited on a routine. The K specifies a reverse (check) valve, which holds the downstream set pressure if the upstream supply is interrupted. If you want condensate removed without operator attention, ask about the automatic-drain variant.
