The AirTAC GFR400C10MC2WK AirTAC Filter Regulator, PT3/8, 5 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR400C10MC2WK is a size 400 filter regulator that removes water and particulate from compressed air and holds downstream pressure in one body. This configuration carries a 5 um filter element with a manual-drain polycarbonate bowl, a standard regulator adjustable from 0.05 to 0.9 MPa (7-130 psi), a round external pressure gauge reading in psi, and a built-in reverse (check) valve so the downstream setting is held if the supply drops. The port is PT3/8, maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), operating temperature is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing), and a mounting bracket is included.
This is a genuine AirTAC part from the GFR series, which spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 inch and options for drain type, filter grade, gauge and thread. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application before you order.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |

| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |

| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding clean, regulated air to a CNC machining centre's pneumatic clamps and tool-change cylinders; the 5 um element protects the fine control valves from water and particles.
Supplying the air cylinders on a carton-sealing or labelling conveyor, where the built-in check valve holds the set pressure if the compressor unloads mid-cycle.
Prepping air at the cell drop for gripper and weld-gun actuation in a robotic welding cell, with the round psi gauge giving operators a local pressure reading at the point of use.
Size 400 with a 3/8 in PT port sits in the upper-middle of the GFR range; step up to size 600 or down to 300 depending on the air your line consumes - we will check the published flow curves against your demand before you order. This unit already carries the key choices: manual drain (simplest to service, and it widens the regulation range to 0.05-0.9 MPa / 7-130 psi), 5 um filtration for finer protection than the standard 40 um element, a round psi gauge, and a reverse/check valve. Thread is PT as standard; G (BSPP) and NPT are order options, and a no-bracket version (code J) exists if you do not need the bracket.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Send us your line pressure, set pressure and air demand, and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet before you order.
Manual drain means the bowl is drained by hand, which suits attended installations; it also widens the regulation range to 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi). If you want unattended draining, the same size 400 filter regulator is available with automatic or differential-pressure drain - ask us for the equivalent code.
