The AirTAC GFR400C10MC2WTK AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT3/8, 5 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR400C10MC2WTK is a size 400 filter regulator that removes water and particulate from compressed air and sets downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration is built with a 3/8 in NPT port, a fine 5 um filter element, a manual drain for emptying the polycarbonate bowl, a round pressure gauge reading in psi, and a built-in reverse/check valve that holds the downstream setting when upstream pressure is lost. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the regulator adjusts from 0.05 to 0.9 MPa (7-130 psi). Operating temperature is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).
This is a genuine AirTAC part from the GFR filter-regulator family, which spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 to 1 inch. Drain, filter grade, gauge style and scale, thread type and bracket options can be selected to suit the installation. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Placed at the drop to a CNC machining cell, this unit filters cutting-fluid-laden shop air down to 5 um and holds a steady regulated pressure to the tool changer, clamps and air blast, with the check valve keeping the setting through upstream dips.
Mounted on the air drop feeding the pneumatic cylinders of a cartoning or case-packing conveyor line, it removes water and pipe scale before the valves and gives the line setter a psi gauge for setting actuator pressure.
Installed at a bench assembly station, it conditions the supply to impact drivers, nutrunners and air ratchets, with the 5 um element protecting tool internals and the manual drain allowing a simple end-of-shift bowl check.
Size and port set the air capacity: this unit is size 400 with a 3/8 in NPT port, one step up from size 300 (3/8 to 1/2 in ports are both in this band), so match the size to the flow your line needs. The 5 um element (code W) suits points of use that need cleaner air than the standard 40 um element; both grades are available across the family. Drain choice matters: manual drain means an operator opens the bowl drain, while automatic and differential-pressure drains discharge condensate without attention. The fitted round gauge reads in psi; embedded square gauges and MPa or bar scales are the other catalogue choices. Thread is NPT here, with PT (standard) and G (BSPP) as order options. A mounting bracket is included.
Because flow is published as curves and not a single rated figure, ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR400 series as capacity curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote one number. Tell us your application and required flow, and we will confirm the right size from the datasheet curves on request.
The M in the code specifies a manual drain: condensate collected in the polycarbonate bowl is emptied by opening the drain when needed. The GFR400 series is also available with an automatic drain or the default differential-pressure drain, which discharge condensate without operator attention - useful on lines that run unattended.
