The AirTAC GFR400C10MF2K AirTAC Filter Regulator PT3/8 is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR400C10MF2K is an AirTAC GFR-series filter regulator: water and particulate filtration plus pressure regulation combined in a single body. This size 400 unit comes with a PT3/8 (3/8 in) PT thread, a manual drain, a 40 um filter element, an embedded square gauge reading in psi, and a reverse/check valve fitted. The polycarbonate bowl suits the -5 to 70 C (non-freezing) operating range, maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), and the standard regulator adjusts from 0.05 to 0.9 MPa (7-130 psi). A mounting bracket is included.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 in, and can be ordered with an automatic or differential-pressure drain instead of manual, a finer 5 um element (code W), MPa or bar gauge scales, or G (BSPP) and NPT threads in place of PT. Flow for this series is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us and we will confirm the datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Filtering and regulating the compressed air feeding gripper cylinders on a pick-and-place robot cell, with the fitted reverse/check valve in line and the square psi gauge letting technicians set and read the circuit pressure at a glance.
Supplying clean, regulated air to pneumatic valve positioners and actuators on a process skid, where the 40 um element and manual drain keep water and debris out of the positioner during scheduled checks.
Feeding the sealing and clamping cylinders of a carton-forming line at a set pressure, with the embedded square gauge giving operators a direct psi reading of the supply to the machine.
The real choices in this family are all decodable from the code: step up or down a size (200/300/400/600) to match the port and the flow your line needs; pick the drain - manual as here (which also allows regulation down to 0.05 MPa / 7 psi), automatic, or the differential-pressure default; choose the 40 um standard element or the 5 um W option for finer filtration; and set the gauge scale to MPa, psi or bar. Thread is PT as standard with G (BSPP) and NPT as order options, and the mounting bracket can be included or omitted (code J). Because flow for the GFR series is published as curves and not as a single rating, send us your application details and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Tell us your operating pressure and the flow your application needs, and we will confirm the datasheet curve for this 3/8 in, size 400 unit before you order.
The M in the code means condensate is released by hand from the bowl, which suits machines checked on a routine. The same size can be ordered with an automatic drain (code A) or the differential-pressure default if you prefer unattended draining. Note that the manual-drain version also allows the regulator to be set down to 0.05 MPa (7 psi), the widest range in the family.
