The AirTAC GFR400C10MF3T AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT3/8 is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR400C10MF3T is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This size 400 unit has a 3/8 in NPT port, a 40 um filter element, a manual drain on the polycarbonate bowl, and an embedded square gauge reading in bar. The regulator is the standard type with an adjustment range of 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi), the maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), and the operating temperature is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing. A mounting bracket is included.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 to 1 in, and with choices of drain type, 5 um or 40 um filtration, gauge scale and G/NPT thread. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| C1 | Port size See datasheet. This body offers 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |

| (blank) | Gauge scale: Factory standard. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding clean, regulated air to the tool-changer and clamping circuits on a machining centre, with the manual drain emptied as part of routine shift checks.
Regulating supply pressure to the cylinders on a carton-forming and sealing conveyor, with 40 um filtration protecting the directional valves downstream.
Dropping a regulated branch off a factory air ring main to feed pneumatic cylinders and air-tool stations at a set working pressure.
Size 400 with a 3/8 in port sits in the middle of the GFR range; step up to size 600 or down to 300 or 200 according to the air demand of your line, and we will confirm the flow curves against your requirement. Choose the drain to match maintenance practice: this unit has a manual drain, which suits attended installations, while automatic and differential-pressure drains suit unattended duty. Filtration is 40 um standard; specify 5 um (code W) where finer protection is needed. Gauge scale (MPa, psi or bar) and thread (PT standard, G or NPT to order) are selected at ordering, and a mounting bracket is included.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes filter-regulator flow as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Send us your inlet pressure, set pressure and air demand, and we will confirm the datasheet flow curves for this size 400, 3/8 in unit on request.
This unit has a manual drain, so the bowl is drained by hand as part of routine checks - a good fit where the unit is attended. The GFR family is also offered with automatic or differential-pressure drains; tell us which you prefer when ordering. The 40 um element is standard, with 5 um (code W) available.
