The AirTAC GFR400C10MF3TK AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT 3/8 in is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR400C10MF3TK is a GFR-series filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This size 400 unit comes with NPT 3/8 in ports, a manual-drain polycarbonate bowl, a 40 um filter element, an embedded square gauge scaled in bar, a fitted reverse (check) valve and a mounting bracket. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing), and with the manual drain fitted the regulation range is 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 to 1 in, and with choices of drain type, 40 um or 5 um filtration, gauge scale (MPa, psi or bar), thread (PT standard; G and NPT to order) and bracket. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing and datasheet figures for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Point-of-use conditioning for a CNC machining centre: the 40 um element drops water and particulate before the machine's solenoid valves and cylinders, while the regulator holds a steady bar-set pressure on the pneumatic circuits.
Supplying pick-and-place and clamp actuators on a cartoning or bottling line, where the manual drain lets an operator bleed accumulated condensate at shift start and the bar gauge gives a visible setpoint check.
Installed at drop points off a factory air ring main to turn wet, unregulated header air into clean, regulated supply for air tools, blow-off nozzles and small actuators; the fitted reverse (check) valve blocks backflow toward the header.
When choosing within GFR400, the real decisions are the ones coded in the part number. Step up or down a size (200/300/400/600) to match the port and flow band your line needs - here the 3/8 in NPT port is fixed. Drain type matters: manual (as fitted) needs an operator to drain the bowl, while automatic and differential-pressure drains discharge condensate without attention; the regulation range also differs, 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi) on manual drain versus 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi) on automatic and differential-pressure drains. The 40 um element is the standard grade; specify W for 5 um where finer filtration is needed. The square gauge here reads in bar, with MPa and psi scales as alternatives and an external round gauge optional. Thread is NPT on this unit; PT is the AirTAC standard and G (BSPP) is also available to order. A bracket is included, and the K code adds a reverse (check) valve.
Because AirTAC publishes flow only as curves and not as a single rated figure, we do not quote a flow number here. Send us your application details and we will confirm sizing and the full datasheet on request.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR400 as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a l/min or SCFM number here. Tell us your application and we will confirm the flow curve and the full datasheet on request before you order.
This unit carries the M code, so condensate is drained by hand from the polycarbonate bowl - straightforward where an operator is already at the machine. Automatic and differential-pressure drain versions of the same GFR400 filter regulator are available; note the regulation range differs: 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi) with manual drain versus 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi) with automatic or differential-pressure drain.
