The AirTAC GFR400C10MJC1WTK AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT3/8 5um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR400C10MJC1WTK is an AirTAC GFR400 filter regulator: one body that removes water and particulate from compressed air and holds downstream pressure at your setpoint. This configuration carries a 3/8 in NPT port, a 5 um filter element (finer than the 40 um standard), a manual drain on the bowl, a round pressure gauge scaled in MPa, and a built-in reverse (check) valve that holds downstream pressure if the supply drops. It is a standard-type regulator with an adjustment range of 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi), a polycarbonate bowl, and it mounts without a bracket. Working conditions are -5 to 70 C (non-freezing) at up to 1.0 MPa (145 psi) inlet.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 in, drain choices (differential-pressure, automatic or manual), 40 um or 5 um filtration, gauge styles and scales, and G/NPT thread options to order. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding impact drivers, air cylinders and clamps at a workstation: the 5 um element keeps fine dirt out of the tools while the regulator holds a steady setpoint, and the check valve keeps the drop pressurised during brief supply dips.
Supplying tool-clamp cylinders, chip doors and coolant nozzles on a machining centre, where clean, finely filtered air at a stable pressure prevents sticky spindles and mis-clamps; the MPa gauge lets the setter read the setpoint directly.
Running diverter gates and pusher cylinders on a packaging conveyor: filtered, regulated air gives repeatable stroke behaviour, and the reverse valve holds the diverted position if the plant air header dips.
Size 400 with a 3/8 in port suits installations already running 3/8 in air piping; step up or down a size when flow demand changes, since each size step moves both the port and the flow curve. The 5 um element (code W) is the choice when downstream valves and cylinders need finer protection than the standard 40 um. The manual drain means an operator bleeds collected water from the bowl on a schedule - choose automatic or differential-pressure drain instead if no one can do that. The round MPa gauge is fitted here; psi and bar scales and a square embedded gauge are the alternatives. Thread is NPT on this unit, with G (BSPP) and PT available to order, and this configuration comes without a mounting bracket. Because rated flow is published only as curves, ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR400 series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Tell us your inlet pressure, set pressure and the air demand of your equipment, and we will confirm the flow and datasheet figures for this exact model on request.
This unit has a manual drain (code M): collected water must be bled from the bowl by an operator on a regular schedule. If that is not practical at your site, the same filter regulator is available with an automatic or differential-pressure drain - ask us for the equivalent code.
