The AirTAC GFR400C10MJF1TK AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT3/8 is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR400C10MJF1TK is an AirTAC GFR400 filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This size 400 unit has a 3/8 in NPT port, a manual-drain polycarbonate (PC) bowl, a 40 um filter element, a built-in reverse/check valve and an embedded square gauge with an MPa scale. Regulation range is 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi) with the manual drain, maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), and operating temperature is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The G-series filter regulator line spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 in to 1 in, and options include automatic or differential-pressure drains, a 5 um element (code W), square or round gauges with MPa, psi or bar scales, G or NPT threads in place of the PT standard, and bracket or no-bracket mounting. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing figures from the datasheet for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Mounted at a branch off the shop-air header, it filters water and debris from the supply and holds a set working pressure for the cell's air cylinders, with the manual drain bled during shift checks and the square MPa gauge read at a glance.
Feeds pneumatic grippers, pushers and stopper cylinders on a packaging conveyor, conditioning the air and regulating pressure to the actuators while the manual-drain bowl is emptied at the start of each shift.
Conditions supply air for clamp cylinders and air-blast nozzles on a machining centre; the fitted reverse/check valve helps hold the regulated downstream side if the main supply dips.
The real choices on this family are the size/port step, the drain type, the filter grade, the gauge and the thread. Step up from size 300 to 400 (3/8 in port here) when your line needs more flow capacity; choose manual drain (this code) where an operator can bleed the bowl on a schedule, automatic where the unit runs unattended, or differential-pressure as the default. The 40 um element is standard and the 5 um W option suits finer downstream needs; the gauge can be square (fitted here, MPa scale) or an external round gauge with MPa, psi or bar scales; threads come as PT standard with G and NPT as orderable options; and the J code omits the mounting bracket. Flow is published as curves, not a single rated figure, so send us your application and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for this series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Send us your application details and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet on request.
The M in the code specifies a manual drain: an operator opens the bowl drain to expel collected water and contaminants. Automatic and differential-pressure drains are available on the same size 400 body for unattended operation. Note that the manual-drain version also gives the widest regulation range, 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi), versus 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi) with automatic or differential-pressure drains.
