GFR400C10MJF3TK AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT3/8

The AirTAC GFR400C10MJF3TK AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT3/8 is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.

About the GFR400C10MJF3TK AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT3/8

The GFR400C10MJF3TK is an AirTAC GFR400 filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration has 3/8 in NPT ports, a manual-drain PC (polycarbonate) bowl, a 40 um standard filter element, an embedded square gauge reading in bar, a reverse/check valve fitted, and no mounting bracket. With manual drainage the regulation range is 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi), and maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi). Operating temperature is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.

This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 in, and options include automatic or differential-pressure drains, a 5 um element (code W), gauge scales in MPa or psi, G (BSPP) or NPT threads, and a mounting bracket. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

GFR400G-series filter regulator, 400 body — sets the port range.
C1Port size See datasheet. This body offers 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2".
(blank)Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)).
(blank)Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type.
(blank)Mounting bracket included.
(blank)Pressure gauge fitted (blank).
(blank)Gauge shape: Factory standard. C is round, F is square.
(blank)Gauge scale: Factory standard. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar.
(blank)Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist.
(blank)PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT.
(blank)No reverse-flow valve (the default).

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.

A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Is the GFR400C10MJF3TK AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT3/8 the Right Unit?

Size and port set the air capacity: this unit is size 400 with 3/8 in NPT ports, and the family steps from size 200 to 600 as flow demand grows. Drain choice matters: manual drainage (this unit, carrying the wider 0.05-0.9 MPa / 7-130 psi regulation range) versus automatic or differential-pressure drainage. Filter grade is 40 um standard; choose 5 um (code W) for finer protection. The embedded square gauge here reads in bar; MPa and psi scales and an external round gauge are options. On thread, PT is the AirTAC standard with G (BSPP) and NPT as order options - this unit is NPT. A bracket is optional and this configuration is supplied without one. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.

Quick checklist

  • ✓ Body size for your peak flow (See datasheet here)
  • ✓ Element 40 µm or 5 µm
  • ✓ Drain sets the regulating band
  • ✓ Gauge fitted, shape and scale
  • ✓ Thread PT, G (BSPP) or NPT
  • ✓ Oil needed downstream? Use GFC instead

Installation & Maintenance Notes

  • check Mount vertically, bowl down, following the airflow arrow.
  • check One body does the filtering and the regulating — no separate regulator needed.
  • check Keep inlet pressure at or below 1.0 MPa (145 psi).
  • check Adjust only within 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi).
  • check Drain condensate before the bowl fills.
  • check Keep the unit above freezing (-5 to +70 °C, unfreeze).

The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.

GFR400C10MJF3TK AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT3/8 FAQ

AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR400 as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Send us your application details and we will confirm the flow and other datasheet figures on request before you order.

The M in the code specifies a manual drain: condensate collected in the PC bowl is released by hand, and this drain type carries the 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi) regulation range. Automatic (code A) and differential-pressure (blank) drains are available on the GFR400 if you would rather not drain the bowl manually.
