The AirTAC GFR400C10MLC1TK AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT3/8 is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR400C10MLC1TK is a size 400 filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration has a 3/8 in NPT port, a 40 um standard filtration element, a manual drain on the bowl, a fitted round pressure gauge with MPa scale, a built-in check (reverse-flow) valve, and the low-pressure regulator type. It is a genuine AirTAC part for compressed air only, with a maximum inlet pressure of 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and an operating temperature range of -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).
GFR series filter regulators are available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 in to 1 in, and can be ordered with automatic, manual or differential-pressure drains, a 5 um element (code W), square or round gauges with MPa, psi or bar scales, and G (BSPP) or NPT threads in place of the PT standard. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Filter and regulate the air feeding a workshop pneumatic press, with the check valve holding the downstream setting if upstream supply is interrupted. The manual drain suits a press station attended during each shift.
Condition the 3/8 in supply to a packaging line's cylinders and actuators: the 40 um element keeps particulate out of valves, and the low-pressure regulator type matches circuits that run at reduced settings.
Feed a branch manifold serving assembly stations, where the round MPa gauge gives operators a local pressure readout and the check valve protects the branch from backflow when an upstream leg is shut down.
Size 400 with a 3/8 in port suits circuits where you need a step up from 1/4 in supply lines; step to size 600 for larger ports, or down to 200/300 for compact circuits. This unit has a manual drain, so someone must vent the bowl periodically - choose an automatic or differential-pressure drain variant if the installation is unattended. The 40 um element is the standard grade; specify code W for 5 um where finer particulate removal is needed. The fitted round gauge reads in MPa; psi and bar scales are order options. This is the low-pressure regulator type, and the thread here is NPT (PT is the catalogue standard; G/BSPP is also available). Bracket mounting is included. Flow is published as curves, not a single rated figure, so send us your application details and we will confirm sizing and the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not as a single rated number, so we do not quote a flow figure. Send us your line pressure and air demand and we will confirm the sizing against the datasheet curves on request.
The M in the code specifies a manual drain: collected water must be vented from the bowl by hand at intervals, unlike the automatic or differential-pressure drain options. The K code adds a reverse-flow (check) valve, which prevents downstream air from flowing back through the unit when upstream pressure is lost.
