The AirTAC GFR400C10MLF2 AirTAC Filter Regulator, PT3/8, Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR400C10MLF2 is an AirTAC GFR-series filter regulator: water and particulate filtration plus pressure regulation combined in a single body. This size 400 unit carries a PT3/8 port with standard PT thread, a manual drain bowl, and the standard 40 um filter element. The regulator is the low-pressure type, and this configuration ships with the embedded square gauge fitted on the psi scale and the mounting bracket included. At size 400 the bowl is polycarbonate (PC); only the 600 size in this series uses an aluminium alloy bowl.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is published in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with a choice of ports, drain types (differential-pressure, automatic or manual), a 5 um element option (code W), gauge scales in MPa, psi or bar, and G or NPT thread options to order. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| C1 | Port size See datasheet. This body offers 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |

| (blank) | Gauge shape: Factory standard. C is round, F is square. |
| (blank) | Gauge scale: Factory standard. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

On a machine frame where air cylinders clamp or press workpieces, this unit cleans the supply and holds a low, stable regulated pressure at the circuit, with the psi gauge giving the operator a direct readout at the setpoint.
Fitted at the drop to a packaging or filling line's actuated valves and stopper cylinders, it removes water and pipe scale from the plant air and lets the line set its own working pressure, with the manual drain emptied during scheduled checks.
On a control panel or manifold feeding positioners, pilot valves and sensors that run below normal plant pressure, the low-pressure regulator type and 40 um element give a cleaned, gently regulated supply, with the bracket mounting the unit beside the panel.
Start with the port step: size 400 on a PT3/8 connection sits in the middle of the GFR range (200/300/400/600), so move up or down a size if your line's flow demand or existing piping points elsewhere. Drain choice matters day to day: this unit has a manual drain, which suits positions an operator passes regularly; choose automatic or differential-pressure drain if the bowl is hard to reach. The 40 um element is the standard grade; specify the W code for 5 um where downstream equipment needs finer filtration. The regulator here is the low-pressure type - confirm its setpoint range against your circuit before ordering. Gauge scale is psi on this unit; MPa and bar scales are available. Thread is standard PT, with G (BSPP) and NPT as order options, and the bracket is included.
One honest note on sizing: AirTAC publishes flow for this series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we cannot quote a number here. Send us your application details and we will confirm the sizing against the datasheet curves before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC does not publish a single rated flow figure for the GFR series - flow is given only as performance curves. We will not quote a number we cannot stand behind. Send us your application (supply pressure, downstream demand and acceptable pressure drop) and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet curves on request before you order.
The M in the code GFR400C10MLF2 selects the manual drain bowl: condensed water collects in the polycarbonate bowl and is emptied by hand, which suits positions an operator visits routinely. If the unit will sit where nobody passes, the same family is available with automatic or differential-pressure drain instead - just specify the drain code when ordering.
