The AirTAC GFR400C10MLF2WGK AirTAC Filter Regulator G3/8, 5 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR400C10MLF2WGK is an AirTAC GFR400 filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration has a G3/8 (3/8 in) port, a 5 um filter element (code W, against the 40 um standard), a manual drain, the low-pressure regulator type, a metal bowl, an embedded square gauge with a psi scale, a fitted reverse/check valve (code K) and the mounting bracket included. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 in, and options for drain type, 5 um or 40 um filtration, gauge scale (MPa, psi or bar), thread (PT standard; G and NPT are order options), bracket and reverse/check valve. Flow for this series is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing and datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding clamp cylinders on a machining centre fixture: the 5 um element keeps scale and pipe debris out of the clamp valves while the low-pressure regulator holds the clamping circuit at the pressure the fixture was designed for.
Supplying pusher and gating cylinders on a cartoning or case-packing conveyor: the G3/8 port suits the branch lines feeding several small actuators, and the manual drain lets the maintenance round clear collected condensate at each shift check.
Conditioning atomizing air for spray guns in a finishing booth: the 5 um element stops water and particles reaching the finish, and the low-pressure regulator type suits guns that run below full line pressure.
Choose the size by port and flow: size 400 with a G3/8 port sits mid-range in the GFR line, one step above size 300 (1/4 in) and below size 600 (3/4 to 1 in). This unit already carries the 5 um element (code W); select the 40 um standard element when coarser filtration is enough. Drain is manual here, so an operator opens the drain to discharge collected water - choose automatic or differential-pressure drain where the unit is hard to reach. The gauge is the embedded square type with a psi scale; MPa or bar scales and an external round gauge are alternatives. The thread on this code is G (BSPP); PT is the standard and NPT is an order option. The bracket is included and the reverse/check valve is fitted. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so send us your flow and pressure requirements and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
Flow for the GFR400 series is published as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Send us your required flow and working pressure and we will confirm sizing from the AirTAC datasheet on request.
This configuration has a manual drain: collected water must be discharged by opening the drain by hand as part of a routine check. If the unit will be mounted where it is hard to reach, ask us about the automatic or differential-pressure drain versions of the same GFR400 size.
