The AirTAC GFR400C10MLF3T AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT3/8 Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR400C10MLF3T is an AirTAC GFR400 filter regulator: one body that removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure. This size 400 configuration comes with a 3/8 in NPT port, a manual drain on a polycarbonate (PC) bowl, a 40 um filter element, the low-pressure regulator type, an embedded square gauge scaled in bar, and a mounting bracket. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 in, and options that include automatic, manual or differential-pressure drains, a 5 um element (code W), square or round gauges with MPa, psi or bar scales, G (BSPP) or NPT threads in place of the PT standard, and a check valve where the code carries K. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Supplies filtered, regulated air to the clamp cylinders on a machining cell fixture, keeping water and swarf-carrying particulate out of the clamping valves while holding a reduced set pressure suited to the low-pressure regulator type.
Feeds the heat-seal jaws on a packaging line, where sealing circuits run at reduced settings that match the low-pressure type, and the manual drain is opened during scheduled shift checks.
Mounted ahead of a bank of directional control valves on an assembly line, delivering clean, regulated air that protects spools and seals from condensate and debris.
Size and port step up together across the GFR range (200, 300, 400, 600; 1/8 to 1 in), so choose the size whose flow curve covers your demand - we can check the curve against your consumption before you order. Drain type is a real operating choice: manual means an operator opens the drain at routine intervals, while automatic and differential-pressure drains handle condensate for you; this unit is manual. The standard element is 40 um; specify code W for 5 um where downstream equipment needs finer filtration. Gauges are embedded square or optional external round, with MPa, psi or bar scales - this one is square, bar. Threads: PT is the standard, and G (BSPP) and NPT are order options - this unit is NPT. The low-pressure regulator type serves circuits set below the standard range; its exact adjustment range is not published, so confirm it with us.
Because flow is published as curves and not as a single rating, ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR400 as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Tell us your working pressure and air consumption and we will confirm from the datasheet whether the GFR400 at 3/8 in NPT covers your application before you order.
The M in the code sets a manual drain: condensate collects in the polycarbonate bowl and an operator opens the drain at routine intervals. If you would rather not rely on manual checks, the same GFR400 body is available with an automatic or a differential-pressure drain - just ask when ordering.
