The AirTAC GFR400C10MLJC3T AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT3/8 Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR400C10MLJC3T is a filter regulator: filtration and pressure regulation combined in one body, removing water and particulate from compressed air while holding downstream pressure steady. This size 400 unit carries a 3/8 in NPT port, a metal bowl with manual drain, a 40 um standard filter element, and the low-pressure regulator type (L). A round pressure gauge scaled in bar is fitted; no mounting bracket (J) and no reverse/check valve are supplied. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 in, and with choices of drain type, 40 um or 5 um filtration, gauge style and scale, thread (PT standard, G and NPT to order) and bracket. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so we confirm flow and other datasheet figures on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Mounted ahead of low-pressure spray guns on a paint line, it strips water and pipe scale from shop air and lets the painter set a steady, reduced gun supply pressure at the booth.
Feeding low-pressure clamping and hold-down cylinders on a carton-sealing conveyor, it keeps grit and condensate out of the actuators while the operator dials in the holding pressure.
Supplying air knives that blow off rinse water before labelling, it filters the shop air and regulates it down to the gentler pressure the blow-off station needs.
Size and port are the first choices: sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 step up in port and flow capacity, and this unit sits at size 400 with a 3/8 in NPT port. Where a bowl is fitted you can order a differential-pressure drain (default), automatic (A) or manual (M); this code carries manual, so the bowl is emptied by hand. Filter grade is 40 um standard or 5 um with code W - this unit is 40 um. Gauge options are the embedded square gauge or an external round gauge in MPa, psi or bar scales; here the round bar-scale gauge is fitted. Thread is PT as standard with G (BSPP) and NPT as order options - this code is NPT. Code J means no mounting bracket is supplied.
Please note the honest limits: flow is published as curves, not a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering. As a low-pressure type, the exact regulation range is not published in the standard tables - we will confirm it from the datasheet on request.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes GFR flow as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote one number. Send us your line pressure and application details and we will confirm the flow and sizing from the datasheet on request.
Yes. The M in this code means the metal bowl is emptied by hand at intervals. If you cannot schedule draining, the same unit can be ordered with an automatic drain (code A) or the default differential-pressure drain - just ask and we will quote the variant.
