The AirTAC GFR400C10MLJF2W AirTAC Filter Regulator 3/8" Low Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR400C10MLJF2W is an AirTAC GFR400 filter regulator: water and particulate filtration plus pressure regulation combined in a single body. This configuration is the low-pressure type (code L) with a 5 um filter element (code W) instead of the 40 um standard, a manual drain on the metal bowl, and a built-in square gauge scaled in psi. It is ported PT3/8, is supplied without a mounting bracket (code J), and has no reverse/check valve fitted. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 inch, ordered with a choice of drain type, 40 um or 5 um filtration, gauge style and scale (MPa, psi or bar), PT, G or NPT thread, and bracket. The exact regulation range of the low-pressure type is not published, and flow is given as curves rather than a single rating; we confirm both from the datasheet on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Supplying filtered, regulated air to clamp and hold-down cylinders on a carton sealing or labeling conveyor, where the 5 um element helps keep particulate out of valve and seal faces.
Regulating air to atomizing nozzles on a coating or humidifying line, with the manual drain letting an operator clear accumulated water from the bowl at each shift start.
Feeding positioners and pneumatic valve actuators on a water-treatment or chemical dosing skid, with the square psi gauge giving a local setpoint readout at the manifold.
Size 400 with a PT3/8 port sits in the middle of the GFR range; step up to 600 or down to 300/200 according to the air demand of your line. Because flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering. This code is already specified with the 5 um element (W) for finer particulate removal than the 40 um standard, a manual drain instead of the differential-pressure default, and a square gauge scaled in psi (scales 1 = MPa and 3 = bar are the alternatives). The L code selects the low-pressure regulator type for circuits that run below standard pressures; its exact range is confirmed on request.
Thread is PT as standard, with G (BSPP) and NPT available as order options, and the J code means no mounting bracket is included - add the bracket variant if the unit will be wall- or panel-mounted rather than plugged directly into a manifold.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes G-series flow as performance curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Send us your inlet pressure, set pressure and expected air demand, and we will confirm the flow and sizing from the datasheet on request.
The M in the code selects the manual drain: water collected in the metal bowl is released by hand, which suits machines that are shut down regularly. The GFR family also offers an automatic drain and a differential-pressure drain as the default; tell us how your equipment is operated and we can quote the matching variant.
