The AirTAC GFR400C10MLJF2WGK AirTAC Filter Regulator G3/8, 5 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR400 series does two jobs in one body: it strips water and particulate from compressed air and regulates the downstream pressure. This unit is the GFR400C10MLJF2WGK configuration: G3/8 (BSPP) ports, a 5 um filter element (the finer of the two published grades), a manual drain on the metal bowl, a low-pressure regulator with an embedded square gauge reading in psi, and an integrated check valve that holds downstream pressure when the upstream supply dips. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing. No mounting bracket is included (code J), so plan your own fixing.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 inch, a choice of manual, automatic or differential-pressure drains, 40 um standard or 5 um (W) elements, square or round gauges with MPa, psi or bar scales, and PT, G or NPT threads. Flow for this series is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding a low-pressure pneumatic forming or clinching press: the 5 um element keeps the solenoid valves clean, the low-pressure regulator holds the reduced setting, and the check valve keeps the circuit pressurised through supply dips.
Air preparation for clamping fixtures on a machining centre: filtered, regulated air to the clamp cylinders, with the psi gauge giving the operator a direct read of clamp pressure at the machine.
Supplying cylinders and air grippers on a packaging or bottling conveyor: water and fine particulate are drained off at the manual bowl before they reach the actuators, and regulation keeps pick-and-place motion consistent.
Size 400 with G3/8 ports sits in the middle of the GFR range; step down to 300/200 or up to 600 as your port size and demand require. The choices decoded into this code: manual drain (the bowl is emptied by hand; pick automatic or differential-pressure drain if that routine does not suit your site), a 5 um element where the application needs finer filtration than the 40 um standard, a square gauge on a psi scale (MPa and bar scales, or an external round gauge, are options), G thread where PT is the standard and NPT is an order option, and no bracket (code J) so you can mount it your own way. The regulator is the low-pressure type, suited to circuits that hold a reduced setting; its exact adjustment span is not published, so confirm it with us. Because flow is published as curves and not a single rating, send us your conditions and we will confirm the right size before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR400 series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Tell us your flow and pressure conditions and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet before you order.
The M in this code means the metal bowl drains only when operated by hand, which suits a machine that is attended daily. The same series is available with automatic or differential-pressure drains; tell us your preference and we will confirm the variant.
