The AirTAC GFR400C10MNT AirTAC Filter Regulator, NPT3/8, Manual Drain is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR400C10MNT is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and holds downstream pressure at your setpoint in a single body. This size 400 configuration has a 3/8 in NPT port, a manual drain, the standard 40 um filter element, and no gauge fitted. Downstream pressure is adjustable anywhere in the 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi) range, maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing. The polycarbonate bowl is drained by hand, which suits installations with a regular maintenance routine.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 in, drain choices (differential-pressure, automatic or manual), 40 um standard or 5 um optional filtration, gauge options, and G (BSPP) or NPT thread variants alongside the PT standard. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing figures from the datasheet for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |

| (blank) | Gauge scale: Factory standard. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |

| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Filtered, regulated air to a bench pneumatic press or clamping fixture, where a stable setpoint protects the tooling and keeps part quality consistent.
Point-of-use conditioning ahead of diverters, stoppers and cylinder-driven guides on a packaging or bottling conveyor, with manual drain tied to a scheduled changeover.
Water and particulate removal plus pressure regulation for the air-operated components of a CNC machine tool on a supervised shop floor.
Size and port step up together: this unit is size 400 with a 3/8 in NPT port, and larger sizes in the family carry larger ports and more flow. The drain here is manual (code M) - you drain the bowl by hand; automatic and differential-pressure drains are available if you prefer unattended moisture removal. Filtration is the 40 um standard element; specify the W option for 5 um where finer protection is needed. Thread: PT is the AirTAC standard, while G (BSPP) and NPT are order options - this unit is ordered in NPT. A mounting bracket is included, and gauge options with MPa, psi or bar scales can be ordered if you want a local pressure readout. Because flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, send us your flow and pressure requirements and we will confirm sizing from the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes GFR400 flow as performance curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Send us your flow and pressure requirements and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet on request.
This configuration is ordered without a gauge (code N); gauge options with MPa, psi or bar scales are available in the GFR family if you want a local readout. The M in the code is the manual drain: collected water is drained from the bowl by hand, which suits installations with a regular maintenance routine. Automatic and differential-pressure drains are alternative options in the same family.
