The AirTAC GFR400C10MNTK AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT3/8 is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR400C10MNTK is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This 400-size unit is tapped NPT3/8 (3/8 in), carries the standard 40 um filter element, and has a manual-drain polycarbonate bowl. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), the regulator adjusts from 0.05 to 0.9 MPa (7-130 psi), and the operating temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing). A reverse/check valve is fitted for lines where backflow must be prevented, a mounting bracket is included, and no gauge is supplied with this configuration.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port options from 1/8 to 1 inch, PT as standard and G or NPT to order, plus a choice of manual, automatic or differential-pressure drains, an optional 5 um element (code W), gauge and scale options, and a low-pressure type. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing and datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |

| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Point-of-use conditioning for a machine tool's pneumatic valves and actuators: the 40 um element strips water and airborne particulate while the regulator holds a steady setting to the tool changer and workpiece clamps.
Feeding flap-fold and taping cylinders on a carton sealing line, where a stable regulated supply keeps stroke timing consistent and the manual drain lets operators bleed accumulated water from the bowl at shift start.
Conditioning air to gripper and pick-and-place actuators in a robot cell: the fitted reverse/check valve guards the downstream circuit against backflow, and the included bracket gives clean mounting inside the cell cabinet.
Size and port are the first choice: 200, 300, 400 and 600 step up in port size and flow capacity, and this unit sits at 400 with a 3/8 in NPT port. Drain type is a real decodable choice - manual (as here, which widens the regulation range to 0.05-0.9 MPa), automatic, or the differential-pressure default. Filter grade is 40 um standard or 5 um with code W. A gauge with MPa, psi or bar scale can be ordered, and thread can be PT (standard), G or NPT. Because flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, send us your application details and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes GFR400 flow as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Send us your application details - working pressure and expected air demand - and we will confirm the flow and datasheet figures on request before you order.
In the code GFR400C10MNTK, M is the manual drain, N means no gauge is fitted, and K adds the reverse/check valve. Manual drain means the bowl is bled by hand, and it widens the regulation range to 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi). If you prefer automatic draining or a gauge with an MPa, psi or bar scale, we can quote the equivalent configuration.
