The AirTAC GFR400C10MNWTK AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT3/8 5 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR400C10MNWTK is a filter regulator: water and particulate filtration plus downstream pressure regulation in a single body. This size 400 unit carries a 3/8 in NPT port, a 5 um filter element (the W grade, finer than the 40 um standard) and a manual drain you operate to expel collected condensate. No gauge is fitted (code N), so specify one if you want a local pressure readout. A reverse/check valve (K) is built in and a mounting bracket is included. The bowl on the 400 size is polycarbonate (PC). Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), the regulating range with manual drain is 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi), and the working temperature is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 in to 1 in, and each size can be ordered with a different drain type, filter grade, gauge and scale, thread (PT standard, with G and NPT as order options), bracket and check-valve choices. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the flow and datasheet figures for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Point-of-use conditioning ahead of pneumatic clamps and tool-change cylinders on a CNC machining cell: the 5 um element helps keep fine particulate out of the valves while the regulator holds a steady setting for consistent clamping.
Conditioning the supply to diverters, stoppers and pusher cylinders on a packaging conveyor, where the manual drain lets an operator clear condensate at shift start and the built-in check valve backs up the downstream circuit.
Filtered, regulated air at the wall drop feeding spray guns in a paint booth: the 5 um grade helps keep water and fine dirt out of the finish, with working pressure set at the regulator to suit the gun specification.
Step through the decodable choices in order. Size and port first: 200/300/400/600 with ports from 1/8 in to 1 in - pick the step that matches the air demand of the circuit downstream, since larger sizes carry more flow. Drain: this unit has manual drain (M); automatic (A) and differential-pressure (blank, the default) versions exist if you would rather not drain by hand. Filter grade: 5 um (W, as here) or the 40 um standard - choose 5 um where downstream equipment needs finer air. Gauge: none is fitted on this unit (N); gauges can be specified with MPa, psi or bar scales. Thread: this unit is NPT (T); PT is the standard thread and G (BSPP) is also available to order. Bracket: included here (code J deletes it). Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR family as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Send us your application details and we will confirm the flow and the full datasheet figures for this exact model on request.
M means you drain collected condensate from the bowl by hand at intervals. The same size 400 filter regulator can be ordered with automatic drain (A) or the differential-pressure drain (blank, the default). Note that with manual drain the regulating range is 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi).
