The AirTAC GFR400C10NTK AirTAC Filter Regulator, NPT3/8 is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR400C10NTK is an AirTAC GFR-series filter regulator: water and particulate filtration plus downstream pressure regulation in a single body. This size 400 unit is ported NPT3/8 (3/8 in), carries the standard 40 um filter element, and uses the differential-pressure drain, which purges collected condensate automatically as flow conditions change - no drain fitting to plumb and no manual routine to remember. A reverse (check) valve is fitted, the mounting bracket is included, and no gauge is supplied with this configuration, so set and monitor the regulated pressure with your own gauge. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing); the polycarbonate bowl suits this size.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600, with optional 5 um (code W) filtration, automatic or manual drain variants, gauge and scale choices, and G (BSPP) or NPT thread options to order. Flow for this series is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet and sizing for your application before you order.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeds clean, regulated air to the tool-change and clamping circuits of a CNC machining centre, with the check valve holding the downstream circuit if upstream supply dips.
Installed at the drop to a small pneumatic press or forming station, removing water and pipe scale from the shop air and holding a steady setting for consistent ram action.
Supplies filtered, regulated air to the cylinders and grippers of a carton-sealing or case-erecting conveyor station, where condensate carry-over would upset timing and sealing.
Start with the port step: size 400 with a 3/8 in NPT port sits mid-range in the GFR line, so match it to your line size and required air demand - we will confirm the flow curve against your consumption before you order. Choose the drain for the installation: differential-pressure (this unit) suits continuously running lines, automatic drain (code A) suits unattended or intermittent duty, and manual drain (code M) suits low-condensate points. The standard element is 40 um; specify the W option for 5 um where downstream equipment needs finer filtration. This configuration ships without a gauge (code N) - gauge and scale (MPa, psi or bar) can be specified on other variants. Thread here is NPT; PT is the standard thread and G (BSPP) is also a catalogue option. Bracket included; a no-bracket (J) variant exists for the family. Because flow is published as curves, not a single rating, send us your application details and we will confirm sizing from the datasheet.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as performance curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a Cv, l/min or SCFM number. Tell us your line pressure and air consumption and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet on request.
The N in the code means no gauge is supplied with this unit, so it is delivered without one. You can monitor the downstream pressure with your own gauge, or choose a GFR400 variant specified with the embedded square gauge or an optional external round gauge in MPa, psi or bar scale.
