The AirTAC GFR400C10NWTK AirTAC Filter Regulator 3/8 in NPT is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR400C10NWTK is a filter regulator: one body that removes water and particulate from compressed air and holds downstream pressure at your chosen setting. This size 400 unit has a 3/8 in NPT port and a 5 um filter element (code W) for finer filtration than the standard 40 um grade. A differential-pressure drain bleeds collected condensate away automatically whenever the pressure differential across the element calls for it. The unit is supplied without a gauge, includes a reverse (check) valve, and comes with a mounting bracket. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), working temperature is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing), and with the standard regulator and differential-pressure drain the outlet pressure adjusts across 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi). The bowl on this size is polycarbonate.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is offered in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 in, and with choices of drain type, filter grade, gauge and thread (PT as the standard; G and NPT as order options). Flow for this series is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet and check sizing for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Point-of-use preparation at each machine tool in a machining cell: the 5 um element and steady regulated supply condition the air feeding tool-change cylinders, clamps and air blast nozzles on the shop floor.
Conditioning and regulating the air feeding cylinder-driven carton forming, sealing and case-packing stations on a packaging line, where the check valve helps hold the set pressure against upstream fluctuation.
Supplying regulated, filtered air to the grippers, clamps and weld-gun actuation circuits of a robotic welding cell, with the 3/8 in port matching the cell's main drop and the bracket allowing panel or frame mounting.
Size 400 with a 3/8 in port sits in the upper-middle of the GFR range; step down to 300 or up to 600 depending on the air demand of the circuit, and we can check the published flow curves against your requirement before you order. This configuration pairs the 5 um element (W) with a differential-pressure drain; choose the automatic drain (A) for fully hands-off condensate removal, or the manual drain (M) where you need the wider regulation range down to 0.05 MPa (7 psi). No gauge is fitted on this code; a square or round gauge with an MPa, psi or bar scale can be specified instead. The NPT thread on this unit is an order option alongside the PT standard, and a mounting bracket is included.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so there is no one number we can honestly quote. Send us your application's air demand and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet on request before you order.
W is the filter grade code: this unit carries the optional 5 um element instead of the 40 um standard, for finer removal of particles and carryover. The N in the code means no gauge is supplied; if you want to read the regulated outlet pressure directly, a square or round gauge with an MPa, psi or bar scale can be specified when ordering.
