The AirTAC GFR400C15AC2TK AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/2 is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR400C15AC2TK is a size 400 filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in one body. This configuration carries a 1/2 in NPT port, an automatic drain that handles condensate from the bowl without manual intervention, a 40 um standard filter element, an external round pressure gauge with a psi scale, a fitted reverse (check) valve, and an included mounting bracket. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), the standard regulator adjustment range with automatic drain is 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), and the operating temperature is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing). The bowl on this size is polycarbonate (PC).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 in to 1 in, thread options PT (standard), G and NPT, drain choices of differential-pressure, automatic or manual, a 5 um optional filter element (code W), gauge choices with MPa, psi or bar scales, and an optional reverse valve. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we confirm flow and full datasheet figures on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Filtering and regulating the air feeding carton-sealing and taping heads on a packaging line, with the automatic drain clearing condensate from humid plant air before it reaches the sealer cylinders.
Conditioning and setting a stable supply pressure for the air cylinders that divert, gate and stop bottles on a filling-line conveyor, with the check valve holding the downstream circuit if upstream pressure dips.
Supplying filtered, regulated air to pneumatic clamps and workholding fixtures on a CNC machining cell, where the 40 um element protects the clamp valves and the psi gauge gives the operator a local setpoint reading.
Size 400 with a 1/2 in port sits in the upper half of the GFR range; step up or down (200/300/400/600) according to the flow your line needs - ask us to check the published flow curves against your application before ordering. Choices that remain open on this family: drain type (differential-pressure is the default, automatic or manual are ordered variants - this unit is automatic), filter grade (40 um standard here, 5 um with code W), gauge scale (MPa, psi or bar - this unit is round, psi), thread (PT is the standard; G and NPT are order options - this unit is NPT), and bracket (included on this code; code J omits it).
Because AirTAC publishes flow only as curves and not as a single rated number, we do not quote a flow figure here. Send us your application details and we will confirm sizing and datasheet figures on request before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR400 as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a flow number here. Tell us your application and we will confirm the flow and full datasheet figures on request before you order.
This code carries drain type A: an automatic drain that discharges condensate from the bowl without manual intervention. The GFR family is also available with the differential-pressure drain (the default, no code letter) or a manual drain (code M); note the regulator adjustment range differs by drain type, with the automatic and differential-pressure types at 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi) and the manual type at 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi).
